Anaya Kunst is a Brazilian composer, musician, recording artist, filmmaker, author, and producer. [1] Her genre has been described as New Age, Instrumental, and Electronic and she has won numerous awards including Global Music Awards, Clouzine International Music Awards, and was nominated for an Independent Music Award and Hollywood Music in Media Award, among others. [2] [3] As a music video and short film producer and director, she won Best Original Music, Best Director, and Best Women Filmmaker for Dragons Gate at the Critics Choice International Film Festival [4] as well as receiving awards by Beyond the Curve International Film Festival (Paris, France), [5] the Los Angeles Motion Picture Festival, [6] the Swedish International Film Festival, [7] and others.
Anaya Kunst was born Tania Mara Botelho in São Paulo, Brazil and learned to play the piano at 9 years old and guitar at 15 years old as well as studying ballet and gymnastics. [8] [9] She is a trained opera singer and studied at the Conservatorio with Carlos Gomez. [10] She holds a master's degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, a doctorate degree from Loughborough University of Technology in England, and a post doctorate degree from Syracuse University School of Information Studies. Anaya Kunst composes, performs, produces, and directs under the name Anaya, Anaya Kunst and/or Anaya Music. [9] She plays the piano, guitar, flute, and saxophone and has won numerous music awards as well as international film awards for film shorts and music videos. [12] [13]
Anaya has won numerous awards for her work in music and film including the Critics Choice International Film Festival Awards where she won Best Original Music, Best Director, and Best Women Filmmaker for Dragons Gate [4] and won Best Female New Age Artist at the Indie Music Channel Awards. [14] In 2020, she was nominated for a Peace Song Award for her spoken word song, Let Peace Be (co-written with Cindy Paulos). [15]
Botelho started recording new-age music for meditation with her album Caminhos in 2000. Since then she recorded and released over 50 albums, songbooks, and singles with new age, cosmic styles of music. Two of her albums were recorded with the Prague Symphony Orchestra in collaboration with her arranger and audio engineer in Los Angeles. All her releases have received favorable reviews. [16] [17] Her music combines elements of instruments, technology, and electronic music [18] and is recorded at 432 HZ, a frequency that some believe aligns with the heart chakra to bring quiet and calm. In 2018, Anaya Kunst's album, AONKI - Gateway of Love, was recorded and performed virtually in Prague with musicians from the Czech Philharmonic. [21] She has worked with Gonzaguinha and Ivan Lins, whom she has performed with at several events. [9]

Hisham Zreiq, also spelled Zrake, is a Palestinian-Israeli Independent filmmaker, poet, animator and visual artist. He began working in computer art in 1994, and in 1996 started exhibiting his work in galleries and museums. In 2007 he filmed his first documentary, The Sons of Eilaboun, and in 2008 he created the short film Just Another Day, dealing with the life of Arabs living in western world after the September 11 terror attacks. He uses his poetry and visual art in his films, as in Just Another Day, and was a member of the Culture Unplugged film festival panel. In 2018 Zreiq contributed to the book An Oral History of the Palestinian Nakba by writing a chapter based on the interviews from his documentary The Sons of Eilaboun.
