Andre Korbmacher (born 30 April 2005) is an American hurdler. [1]
From Bellingham, Washington, he began competing in athletics at Whatcom Middle School where he was initially a sprinter. He joined the sprint and hurdle club Ready-Set-Go Sprinters Club in Bellingham, WA. [2] He then attended Squalicum High School. He won the New Balance national championships over 60m hurdles in 2022. [3] He broke the state high school 110m hurdles record four times, finishing the 2023 season with a personal best of 13.74 seconds. [4] He then attended Florida State University. [5]
In March 2024, he lowered his 110m hurdles personal best to 13.56 seconds. [6] He finished runner-up at the USATF U20 Championships in Eugene, Oregon in June 2024, [7]
He competed at the 2024 World Athletics U20 Championships in Lima, Peru, qualifying for the final. [8] In the final, he won the silver medal with a personal best U20 time of 13.14 seconds. [9] [10]
In May 2025, he won the 110 metres hurdles at the Atlantic Coast Conference Championships (ACC) in 13.47 seconds. [11]
