Andrea Mura (born 13 September 1964) is an Italian sailor and former politician. [1]
Mura was expelled from the Five Star Movement in July 2018 for his abstentionism and he later resigned from Parliament. [4]

The boat had structural issues during the 2022 Route de Rhum when the ballast tanks demounted themselves. This while retiring from the race the previous day and heading back towards Portugal led to an onboard fire and the boat was lost,
Laurent Bourgnon was a Swiss sailor and motorsports. He was an offshore sailing winning both the prestigious transadltanic races the Route du Rhum in 1994 and 1998 and the Transat Jacques-Vabre in 1997. He did a lot of his racing alongside his brother and fellow adventurer Yvan Bourgnon. He was born on 16 April 1966 in La Chaux-de-Fonds and disappeared after a diving accident on 24 June 2015 in Toau Atoll,French Polynesia.

The Route du Rhum is a single person transatlantic race the 2022 race was the 12th edition and had six classes with 138 boats taking part. The events status as a qualification for event for the Vendee Globe lead to the largest most competitive fleet of IMOCA 60 class yachts gathered todate. In his first attempt at the race Charles Caudrelier took line honours in a new race record time on the Maxi Multihull Edmond de Rothschild in six days,19 hours and 47 minutes.
