Andreas Bomark (born 20 September 1975) is a former Swedish bandy goalkeeper.
Bomark was a youth product of Edsbyns IF. He reached his first national final with Hammarby IF in 2003, but lost 4–6 to Sandvikens AIK. The club ended as consecutive runners-up in 2003, losing 6–7 to Edsbyns IF in the final. [1]
Edsbyn is a locality and the seat of Ovanåker Municipality, Gävleborg County, Sweden with 3,985 inhabitants in 2010. It is located in the historical province of Hälsingland.
The 2006 Bandy World Championship was held in Sweden 28 January-5 February. There were men's national teams from 12 countries participating in the 2006 tournament: Belarus, Finland, Kazakhstan, Norway, Russia, Sweden and Canada, Estonia, Hungary, Mongolia, the Netherlands, the United States.
Edsbyns IF, is a bsports team from Edsbyn in Ovanåker Municipality in Sweden founded on 6 June 1909. The bandy section of the club was founded as late as in 1925 was formally made a club of its own on 28 June 2000.
The combination Allsvenskan and Elitserien was earlier the highest level of bandy in Sweden contested annually between Swedish bandy clubs. The Allsvenskan was split into two regional divisions: the Allsvenskan Norra (north) and the Allsvenskan Södra (south), in which the teams played during the autumn. After the Christmas holiday the Allsvenskan was split into Elitserien and Superallsvenskan. The season ended in March with a final on Studenternas IP like the Super Bowl.

Söderholm has been a member of Swedish championship winning squads in the 1999–2000, 2001–02 and 2002–03 seasons for Sandvikens AIK and the 2003–04 season for Edsbyns IF He was also a member of the Bandy World Cup winning squad in 2001–02 season.
Per Hellmyrs is a Swedish professional bandy player who is a creative midfielder.
The Elitserien is since the 2007–08 season the highest bandy league in Sweden. It consists of 14 teams. The season ends with one final game in March. The final was held at Studenternas IP in Uppsala from 1991 until 2012. In 2013 and 2014 the final was played at Friends Arena in Solna, and from 2015 to 2017 it was played at the Tele2 Arena. The final returned to Studenternas IP in 2018.

Joakim Hedqvist is a Swedish professional bandy player, who currently plays for Edsbyns IF in Elitserien, the top division of Swedish bandy, with whom he has won five consecutive Swedish championships.
FIB Champions Cup is an international (pre-season) bandy tournament held annually in September on indoor Dina-Arena in Edsbyn, Sweden from 2004 when 8 strongest clubs from Sweden and Russia (2) competed for the cup for the first time. Next year the format was changed expanding the number of participants to 12. Russian champions Vodnik and Dynamo Moscow did not participate in the tournament – vacancies were filled by other Swedish clubs, and, once by Tornio (ToPV) (2005) from Finland.

The 2016–17 Elitserien was the tenth season of the present highest Swedish men's bandy top division, Elitserien. The regular season began on 21 October 2016, and the final was played at Tele2 Arena in Stockholm on 25 March 2017. Edsbyns IF won the Swedish national championship title by defeating Bollnäs GIF, 3–1, in the final game, thereby securing Edsbyn's tenth championship title, making the club alone the third most successful Swedish bandy club so far.
