Nangarhār, also called Nangrahar or Ningrahar, is one of the 34 provinces of Afghanistan, located in the eastern part of the country and bordering Logar, Kabul, Laghman and Kunar provinces as well as having an international border with Pakistan. St. Andrew's College is an Anglican high school for boys located in Makhanda (Grahamstown), Eastern Cape province of South Africa. It was founded in 1855 by the Right Reverend John Armstrong, the first Bishop of Grahamstown. It is a semi boarding school, with a number of day boys. St. Andrew's College caters to 480 pupils from around the globe. Andrew Jordaan was a South African cricketer who represented Eastern Province cricket team. Jordaan was the first ever cricketer to be timed out in a first class cricket match when he failed to arrive at the ground to continue his innings in a game against Transvaal at Port Elizabeth in 1988. He was delayed as the roads were bad after a downpour the previous night. This feat was only recognised after the decision to recognise matches played under the South African Cricket Board which governed cricket played by non-white South Africans during apartheid. Jordaan is one of only five cricketers to have been timed out in the history of cricket.

In Filipino cuisine, moron is a rice cake similar to suman. It is a native delicacy of the Waray people in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines, particularly in the area around Tacloban City in the province of Leyte and in Eastern Samar province. Other parts of the Philippines have their versions of it, however. In fact, the moron was adopted as one of Mambajao, Camiguin's locally produced products.
A hingel is a type of dumpling found in North Caucasus that is similar to manti. The meat version of the dish is often associated with the Turkish province of Çorum but there is a stuffed potato variety said to hail from Erzurum in eastern Anatolia. The stuffed meat variety resembles a larger than average Turkish manti, but unlike manti, the filling includes onion, garlic and parsley as well as ground meat. It is served with a sauce of melted butter and yogurt.
