Andrew Cosby is an American comic book creator, film producer, and screenwriter. He is the co-creator of the SyFy TV series Eureka, and the co-founder of Boom! Studios.
Cosby worked at Malibu Comics from 1993 to 1995, at which time he left the company to pursue a career in films and was involved producing the feature film adaptation of Mage by comic book creator Matt Wagner with Spyglass Entertainment, and had various projects with Mike Medavoy (Phoenix Pictures), Mark Canton (The Canton Company), Akiva Goldsman, and Casey Silver.
In 2005, Cosby launched BOOM! Studios, [1] creating their first published comic, Zombie Tales.[ citation needed ]
Working with Mike Richardson and Dark Horse, Cosby set up Damn Nation at MTV Films/Paramount Pictures, a comic book Cosby created and was subsequently attached to write and produce. [2]
Cosby produced the 2013 film 2 Guns . [3] He is produced the film adaptation of Mage , by Matt Wagner, [4] Talent, and Tag with Marc Platt Productions and Universal Studios, Damn Nation at MTV Films/Paramount Pictures, [5] The Nightmare of Hugo Baring with Mike Medavoy (Phoenix Pictures), [6] The Foundation at Paramount, Kringle with Mark Canton (The Canton Company), Akiva Goldsman, Creature Tech with Fox, Unusual Suspects with Lloyd Levin and Casey Silver, [7] Saints Row with Lloyd Levin, based on the THQ video game, The Untamed, based on the Stranger Comics graphic novel, and Among the Dead with Nick Spicer and XYZ Films. Cosby received sole script credit for 2019's Hellboy film, a reboot of the Hellboy film series. Christopher Golden and Mike Mignola also contributed to the script, though both went uncredited. Cosby co-created the UPN horror series Haunted and is the co-creator of the Syfy TV show Eureka , the series ran for five seasons ending in July 2012. [10]

Hellboy is a comic book superhero created by writer-artist Mike Mignola. The character first appeared in San Diego Comic-Con Comics #2, and has since appeared in various eponymous miniseries, one-shots and intercompany crossovers. The character has been adapted into three live-action feature films – two starring Ron Perlman in 2004 and 2008 in the title role, and the 2019 reboot which starred David Harbour, as well as two straight-to-DVD animated films, again starring Perlman, and four video games – Asylum Seeker, The Science of Evil, as a playable character in Injustice 2, and Web of Wyrd. A fourth live-action film and second reboot, Hellboy: The Crooked Man, will star Jack Kesy as the character.

In 2013, he received an Annie Award nomination for Best Director for a direct to video or TV broadcast for The Smurfs: The Legend of Smurfy Hollow. In 2014, Franck was nominated for the Russ Manning Award for the first volume of Silver that he writes and illustrates. In 2017, it was announced that writer Andrew Cosby was attached to write a movie adaptation of the Silver series. Franck is also the co-creator of the animated TV show Corneil & Bernie.

Its plot follows John Kelly, a U.S. Navy SEAL who sets out on a path of revenge after his pregnant wife and unit members are killed by Russian hitmen.
