Andrew Marshall (born June 22, 1990) is a Canadian former professional football defensive lineman who played in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for the BC Lions and Ottawa Redblacks. He played CIS football and NCAA football at Simon Fraser University and attended Ballenas Secondary School in Parksville, British Columbia. [1] He was also a member of the Calgary Stampeders and Edmonton Eskimos of the CFL but did not appear in any games for those teams.
Marshall was signed by the Calgary Stampeders on April 25, 2013. [2] He was released by the Stampeders on June 23, 2013. [3]
Marshall signed with the BC Lions on July 8, 2013. [3] He played in his first career game on September 27, 2013 against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
Marshall was drafted by the Ottawa Redblacks in the third round of the 2013 CFL expansion draft. He played in 82 games from 2014 to 2018 with the club and recorded 12 defensive tackles, 56 special teams tackles, three sacks, one interception, and two forced fumbles over that time. He also played in three Grey Cup games, winning the 104th Grey Cup in 2016. He became a free agent on February 12, 2019.
On February 22, 2019, it was announced that Marshall had signed with the Edmonton Eskimos. [4] He spent the 2019 season on the six-game injury list due to an injury endured in training camp. He was later released on January 17, 2020. [5]

Matt Nichols is an American former professional Canadian football quarterback. He last played for the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Nichols played college football at Eastern Washington. He has also been a member of the Dallas Cowboys, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Edmonton Eskimos, and Toronto Argonauts. He officially retired in July of 2022.
Mike Benevides is a professional Canadian football coach who is currently serving as the special teams coordinator for the B.C. Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Benevides was the head coach for the Lions from 2012 though 2014. He has also been the defensive coordinator and assistant head coach for the Edmonton Eskimos and defensive coordinator for the Ottawa Redblacks. He played college football at the defensive tackle position for the Bakersfield College Renegades before transferring to York University to play for the Yeomen.

He then served as the head coach for the Ottawa Redblacks for six seasons. He is a three-time Grey Cup champion, once as the special teams coordinator with the Eskimos in 2003, again with the Eskimos as the defensive coordinator in 2005, and once as the head coach of the Redblacks in 2016.
