Andrew Mark McAvin (born January 4, 1952) is an American voice actor with nearly 80 credits to his resume. He also appeared in over 120 professional theatrical productions including Broadway musicals. He does voice work in anime dubs for ADV Films and Seraphim Digital.

One of his most prominent roles was the genocidal villain Brian J. Mason in Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 , the voice type of which is referred to by cast and crew-mates as the "slime that walks like a man" voice.[ citation needed ] He also did voice work for the AD Police: To Serve and Protect spin off and for Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris .

McAvin is also an instructor in powered paragliding, logging "over 4000 flights and several thousand hours" and has trained over 300 graduates. [1] [2] He is featured in a documentary called Into the Wind: The Sport of Powered Paragliding.

Science Ninja Team Gatchaman is a Japanese animated franchise about a five-member superhero ninja team created by Tatsuo Yoshida and produced by Tatsunoko Productions. The original anime series, which debuted in 1972, was eponymously entitled Kagaku Ninja-tai Gatchaman and is best known in the English-speaking world as the adaptation entitled Battle of the Planets (1978). Mandy Clark is an American voice actress, primarily noted for her role as Tomo Takino in the English-language dub of Azumanga Daioh. Charles C. Campbell is an American voice actor, ADR director and recording engineer. He provides voices for a number of English-language dubs of Japanese anime films.

Yasunori Honda is a Japanese anime sound director who was born in Toyama Prefecture. He studied in the economics department at the Toyama University. After graduating, he moved to Tokyo with the aim of becoming a theatre director. He joined Zoukei Theater Company, which was supervised by Ushio Shima, and worked as an assistant director. In November 1966, he joined Tatsunoko Production. After becoming independent, he worked as a contractor for Tohokushinsha Film before founding Arts Pro in September 1974. In 2014, at his own discretion, Arts Pro dissolved and he went freelance. He has been an honorary member of the Japan Audio Producers' Association since June 2014. Currently, he works mainly on productions by Madhouse and Toei Animation.

<i>Gatchaman</i> (OVA) Japanese original video animation

Gatchaman (ガッチャマン) is a three-part original video animation (OVA) based on the anime series Science Ninja Team Gatchaman. It was released in Japan from 1994 to 1995. This version of Gatchaman is set in the year 2066, where the evil leader of the nation of Hontwall is threatening to take over the planet. Scientists from the International Science Organization are disappearing and only five teenage heroes, the Science Ninja team, can stop the disaster.
