Andy Ogilvie (born January 3, 1965) is a former professional lacrosse player. He played for the Buffalo Bandits, Vancouver Ravens and Calgary Roughnecks in the National Lacrosse League. [1] His NLL career lasted from 1999 to 2007. He was inducted into the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2014 along with Gary Gait and Paul Gait. [2]
The Buffalo Bandits are a professional box lacrosse team in the Eastern Division of the National Lacrosse League (NLL). They play at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. The Bandits played in the Major Indoor Lacrosse League from 1992 to 1997, then in its successor the NLL since 1998.
The Vancouver Ravens were the original Vancouver National Lacrosse League (NLL) franchise from 2002 to 2004. The team played their home games at General Motors Place, now Rogers Arena, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. At the conclusion of their three-year lease at GM Place, they were unable to secure an extension with GM Place nor able to negotiate with Pacific Coliseum. Combined with a lack of attendance due to unstable ownership, on December 14, 2004, the NLL announced that the Ravens would cease operations and not be playing in the 2005 NLL season.
The Calgary Roughnecks are a professional box lacrosse team based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. They are members of the Western Division of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) and play their home games at the Scotiabank Saddledome. The team name is derived from the roughnecks who work drilling rigs in Alberta's oil and gas industry. The team is affectionately known by fans as the Riggers.

Ogilvie was born in Peterborough, Ontario. In Ogilvie's career, he won the Mann Cup three times (1989 and 1991 with New Westminster Salmonbellies, 2001 with Coquitlam Adanacs , the Minto Cup twice (1983, 1986), the world box lacrosse championships once, and a bronze at the 1994 world field lacrosse championships.
