The Angeles Brewing and Malting Company was a brewery that operated in Port Angeles, Washington. The company is notable for having owned a steamboat, the Albion, that was sunk in a collision on Puget Sound.
The company began doing business in 1901. It purchased the small steamship Albion to haul full kegs of beer to various cities on Puget Sound. In 1910, the company suffered two major reverses. First it was placed in receivership in April and then in May Albion was struck in a collision at sea and sank. The company stayed in business, however, until 1915, when statewide Prohibition took effect in Washington. [1]

Anchor Brewing Company is an American alcoholic beverage producer, operating a brewery on Potrero Hill in San Francisco, California. The brewery was founded in 1896 and was purchased by Frederick Louis Maytag III in 1965, saving it from closure. It moved to its current location in 1979. It is one of the last remaining breweries to produce California common beer, also known as Steam Beer, a trademark owned by the company.

The Falstaff Brewing Corporation was a major American brewery located in St. Louis, Missouri. With roots in the 1838 Lemp Brewery of St. Louis, the company was renamed after the Shakespearean character Sir John Falstaff in 1903. Production peaked in 1965 with 7,010,218 barrels brewed and then dropped 70% in the next 10 years. While its smaller labels linger on today, its main label Falstaff Beer went out of production in 2005. The rights to the brand are currently owned by Pabst Brewing Company.
The Lester Apartments was a building in the west side of Beacon Hill, Seattle, Washington, United States. It was constructed in 1910–1911, originally intended to be the world's largest brothel. After scandal forced Seattle mayor Hiram Gill from office, the building was converted to be an ordinary apartment house. It met a disastrous end when a B-50 Superfortress crashed into it in 1951, causing a fire that engulfed the building.

In May 2017 Georgetown began to offer its Bodhizafa IPA, Lucille IPA, and Roger's Pilsner in 12 oz. cans. The primary brew is a pale ale called Manny's.
John R. McAuliffe is an American brewer best known as the founder of the New Albion Brewing Company in Sonoma, California. McAuliffe started the brewery, considered the first American microbrewery in the modern era, in 1976. As of 2013, he lives in Arkansas.
Charles Finkel is a designer, entrepreneur, artist and founder of Bon-Vin, Merchant du Vin, and The Pike Brewing Company in Seattle, Washington. Charles began marketing wines from small family owned California wineries in the 1970s and was the first to market the wines of Washington state throughout the country. In an article in Wines and Vines Magazine in 1970, Finkel was the first to use the term "boutique wines" to describe small, family owned wines of quality.
Craft malting, also called micro-malting, is an agricultural practice of creating malting barley in relatively small quantities for craft beer. One guide says that craft malt must include 50% locally sourced grain, the figure endorsed by a trade industry group.
