Career

After watching the short film Kasappu Inippu directed by Srihari Prabaharan, Aruna Guhan and Aparna Guhan, the great-granddaughters of A. V. Meiyappan selected Srihari along with his friend Anil Krishnan to write a script for their film, Idhuvum Kadandhu Pogum (2014). [1] [2] The film was released directly on YouTube. [3] Anil Krishnan's short film The Lost Paradise was selected to be a part of the anthology film Bench Talkies (2015). [4] [5] [6]

Kappal is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by Karthik G. Krish, a former assistant of Shankar. Produced by I Studios Entertainment, the film stars Vaibhav and Sonam Bajwa, while Karunakaran, Arjunan, Venkat Sundar, Karthik Priyadarshan, VTV Ganesh, and Robo Shankar, appear in supporting roles. The music was composed by Natarajan Sankaran with editing by Anthony and cinematography by Dinesh Krishnan. The film was released by Shankar's S Pictures on 25 December 2014.It was dubbed hindi as Main hoon dilwala by goldmines telefilms pvt ltd. Bench Talkies is a 2015 Indian Tamil language independent anthology film consisting of six short films directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Anil Krishnan, Gopakumar, Charukesh Sekar, Monesh and Rathna Kumar. The film was produced by Subbaraj's newly formed production house Stone Bench Creations and features an ensemble cast including Vijay Sethupathi, Guru Somasundaram, Sananth Reddy and Rishikanth. The film was released on 25 March 2015.

Nivin Pauly, Bobby Simha, Amrutha Srinivasan, Rajeev Govinda Pillai, Arjunan, Ramachandran Durairaj, and Deepak Paramesh have featured in the short films included in the anthology.

Titanic Kadhalum Kavundhu Pogum is an upcoming Tamil-language romantic comedy film written and directed by M. Janakiraman and produced by C. V. Kumar of Thirukumaran Entertainment. The film stars Kalaiyarasan, Anandhi, Ragav Vijay and Ashna Zaveri, with a supporting cast including Kaali Venkat, Gayathrie and Jangiri Madhumitha. The film features music composed by Nivas K. Prasanna with cinematography by Ballu and editing done by Radhakrishnan Dhanapal. The film is scheduled to release on 6 May 2022.

Madhu is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy short film written, directed and produced by Rathna Kumar, starring Sananth, Roshini Abraham and Vivek Prasanna. The music for the film is composed by Javed Riaz, with cinematography handled by Vijay Kartik Kannan and editing done by Sridharan G. K. It was released through YouTube on 6 June 2014.
