Nonte Phonte also spelled as Nonte Fonte, is a Bengali comic-strip creation in 1969 by Narayan Debnath, which originally was serialized for the children's monthly magazine Kishore Bharati. The stories featuring in the comic strips focus on the trivial lives of the title characters, Nonte and Phonte, along with a school-senior, Keltuda, and their boarding school Superintendent. The comics have appeared in book form and have been recreated since 2002 in colour. A popular animation series based on the characters has also been filmed.

Byomkesh is a Bengali streaming television series based on the Byomkesh Bakshi character created by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. Set in the 1930s, the series is based on the adventures of Byomkesh, and his friend and biographer Ajit, who usually accompanies Bakshi during his investigations. Anirban Bhattacharya portrays the lead role of Byomkesh, with Subrat Dutta in the role of Byomkesh's trusted friend-turned-aide, Ajit. The first episode premiered on Saturday, 14 October 2017, being the first Byomkesh series to be available on OTT platform hoichoi worldwide.

Robindronath Ekhane Kawkhono Khete Aashenni is a Bengali web series based on the thriller novel of the same name written by Bangladeshi writer Mohammad Nazim Uddin. The series has been released on West Bengal-based Bengali language OTT platform Hoichoi. It is directed by Indian director Srijit Mukherji. This is the second complete web series directed by Srijit Mukherji and his first work in Hoichoi. Initially, shooting was planned in both countries with the participation of several actors from Bangladesh and India, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, shooting was done only in India. However, Azmeri Haque Badhon is the only Bangladeshi playing the central character "Mushkan Zuberi".

Paran Bandopadhyay, Amlan Majumder, Subhasish Mukherjee and Sumit Samader play the lead roles in the film. The film was released on 19 May 2023.

O Abhagi is a 2024 Indian Bengali-language film directed by Anirban Chakraborty. The film is based on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's short story 'Abhagir Swargo' and stars Rafiath Rashid Mithila in the lead role. Presented by Swabhumi Entertainment and produced by Dr. Prabir Bhaumik. O Abhagi was released all over West Bengal on 29 March 2024.
