It revolves around an undercover officer as well as IPS Abhiraj Roy, who is on a mission to bring down the dreaded don Guru Nayak. But all on a sudden tragically he transforms into an MLA to fulfill his father's wish, who was in coma after meeting an conspiring accident as he was an honest and celebrated politician amongst the masses.
Lathi (transl. Stick) is a 1996 Indian Bengali-language drama film written and directed by Prabhat Roy. Produced by Shanti Film Corporation, it stars Victor Banerjee as the protagonist, with an ensemble cast consisting of Soumitra Chatterjee, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Debashree Roy, Satabdi Roy, Haradhan Bandopadhyay, Abhishek Chatterjee, Pallavi Chatterjee, Rituparna Sengupta, Deepankar De, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Sabyasachi Chakrabarty and Kaushik Sen. The music of the film has been composed by Bappi Lahiri.
Byomkesh was a 2014 Indian Bengali crime fiction television series based on the Bengali sleuth Byomkesh Bakshi created by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. The series starred Gaurav Chakrabarty, Saugata Bandyopadhyay and Ridhima Ghosh as Byomkesh Bakshi, Ajit and Satyabati respectively. The series premiered on 20 November 2014 on Colors Bangla channel and ended on 14 November 2015. This series is re-runned on 4 March 2024. The first episode was narrated by Sabyasachi Chakrabarty.

Dui Purush is a 1945 Bengali language epic family drama film directed by Subodh Mitra. The film was produced by New Theatres and adapted from Tarashankar Bandyopadhyay's novel and popular stage play, with a screenplay by Binoy Chatterjee. The editing was done by Mitra, who was popularly known as Kachi Babu, and cited as one of the best editors in the film industry. The music director was Pankaj Mullick with lyrics by Sailen Roy. The cinematographers were Sudhin Majumdar and Yusuf Mulji. The cast included Chhabi Biswas, Chandrabati Devi, Sunanda Banerjee, Ahindra Choudhury, Tulsi Chakraborty, Jahar Ganguly, and Naresh Mitra.
Khokababu is a Bengali television soap opera that premiered on 9 May 2016 on Star Jalsha. Produced by Snehasish Chakraborty, it stars Pratik Sen and Trina Saha in lead role. The series ended on 29 July 2018.
Goyenda Ginni was an Indian Bengali crime drama anthology television series that premiered on 7 September 2015 to 25 December 2016 and aired on Zee Bangla. It was produced by Shree Venkatesh Films, it starred Indrani Haldar, Saheb Chatterjee, Aditi Chatterjee and Indrajeet Bose. It marks the comeback of Haldar into Bengali television. It replaced the show Raage Anuraage. It got back in March 2020 due to COVID-19 situation. This Show is 4th time repeat telecast on Zee Bangla on 13 May 2024 ; It fetched a highest trp of 8.0.
Netaji is a Bengali biographical soap opera on the life of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose that premiered on 14 January 2019 and aired on Bengali GEC Zee Bangla. Based majorly on Udyata Kharga Subhash by Achintya Kumar Sengupta and produced by Surinder Films, the series stars Abhishek Bose in the eponymous role, with Basabdatta Chatterjee, marking her comeback on television, Dhruvajyoti Sarkar, Kaushik Chakraborty, Sriparna Roy, Debopriyo Sarkar, Sohan Bandopadhyay, Fahim Mirza appearing in other recurring roles. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the shooting of the series was stalled. It was rumoured that along with Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni, this series will be axed the channel. Putting rest to such rumours, the shooting started from June 11 and new episodes started to air from June 15, 2020. The show went off air on 1st August 2020.
Grihapravesh is a Bengali drama film directed by Ajoy Kar. This movie was released on 12 Nov. 1954 under the banner of Naba Chitrabharati Ltd. The music direction was done by Mukul Roy. It stars Uttam Kumar, Suchitra Sen, Bhanu Banerjee, Tulsi Chakraborty, and Anil Chatterjee in the lead roles.
Saajher Pradip is a 1955 Bengali film directed by Sudhangshu Mukherjee. It was written by Prabhabati Devi Saraswati and music was composed by Manabendra Mukherjee. This is a drama film. it was released on 18 January 1955. The film stars Uttam Kumar and Suchitra Sen in lead roles and Chhabi Biswas, Tulsi Chakraborty, Bhanu Bannerjee, Chhaya Devi, Molina Devi, Shishir Batabyal, Gurudas Bannerjee, Kanu Bannerjee, Dhiraj Bhattacharya and Sumana Bhattacharya in the supporting roles. The film was produced by Sreelekha Pictures and it became a semi hit at the box office and for 50 days in theaters.

Aaj Aari Kaal Bhab is an Indian Bengali-language drama television series which premiered from 21 September 2015 on Star Jalsha. It is produced by Arindam Chatterjee and Biswajit Ganguly under the banner of Arindam Chatterjee Productions. It featured an Sriparna Roy as Piku and Sourav Chakraborty as Ishaan in the lead role. The trajectory of the show underwent a significant transformation following the poignant demise of Piku and the introduction of Bokul in Ishaan's life. It subsequently involved a change in the lead cast, with Tuya Chakraborty replacing Roy.
Chirakumar Sabha is a 1956 Indian Bengali-language comedy drama film directed by Debaki Bose and produced by Dilip based on Rabindranath Tagore's story. The film stars Uttam Kumar and Anita Guha in the lead roles with Ahindra Chowdhury and others. This film was released on 26 April 1956 in the banner of Dilip Pictures. It's the remake of a bengali film same name which released on 1932. This film became successful at the box office.
