Anna Fiorentini Theatre & Film School is a part-time stage school, based in London. The school's founder and Principal is Anna Fiorentini.

The school was established in 2001 as a Prince's Trust Business. Since then it has won 3 Business of London Awards and has a growing reputation within the performing arts industry.

Students aged 7 – 18 follow a time-table of Drama, Film, Singing, Dance & Musical Theatre. These classes are taught by leading professionals, and the school currently has a branch in Camden, Greenwich, Hackney and Docklands. The school also offers Fiorentini Weenies classes for students aged 4–6 years old.

Every year the school puts on a Variety Performance at the Hackney Empire. All students have the opportunity to take part in this show. Students are also encouraged to take part in competitions such as Fiorentini's Got Talent and Destination Dance. [1]

To support children from low-income families that may struggle with fees, the school set up the Fiorentini Foundation to help provide bursaries and scholarships. In 2014, Anna Fiorentini set up Stage & the City, an adult performing arts school, to raise money for the Fiorentini Foundation. All profits from Stage & the City go directly to the charity. [2]

The Anna Fiorentini Agency

The Anna Fiorentini school also gives their students the opportunity to join their agency. Many of the schools students are given the opportunity to audition for professional work for TV, film, music videos, voiceovers and West End theatre productions. The Anna Fiorentini Agency (also known as the AF Agency) has a diverse range of children who are all very talented, professional and have a passion for performing.

Stage & the City

Stage & the City is a London-based adult performing arts company which was set up in 2014 as the adult branch of Anna Fiorentini. [3] The company offers evening performing arts courses in various studios across central London. All profits from Stage & the City go directly to the Fiorentini Foundation. [ citation needed ]

The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) is an international dance teaching and examination board based in London, England. The Society of London Theatre (SOLT) is an umbrella organisation for West End theatre in London. Founded in 1908, as Society of West End Theatre Managers, then Society of West End Theatre in 1975, changing to its current name in 1994, the (SOLT) is a not-for-profit organisation which provides a collective voice for the theatre owners, producers and managers of all the major commercial and grant-aided theatres across London. As well as protecting the interests of all its member theatres, SOLT promotes theatregoing through activities including the Laurence Olivier Awards, the TKTS ticket booth, Theatre Tokens, the Official London Theatre fortnightly printed listings guide and the associated OfficialLondonTheatre website. The Ice Theatre of New York is a professional ensemble company dancing on ice, performing works by choreographers drawn from competitive figure skating and modern and contemporary dance. The Governor's School for the Arts is a regional secondary arts school sponsored by the Virginia Department of Education and the public school divisions of Chesapeake, Franklin, Isle of Wight County, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Southampton County, Suffolk, and Virginia Beach. Corona Theatre School was founded in 1950 as a performing arts academy, operating in the region of west London. After the retirement of its owner, Rona Knight, it reopened as Ravenscourt Theatre School in 1989.

Kansas City Ballet

The Kansas City Ballet (KCB) is an American professional ballet company based in Kansas City, Missouri. The company was founded in 1957 by Russian expatriate Tatiana Dokoudovska. The KCB presents five major performances each season to include an annual production of The Nutcracker. In the 2016–2017 season, KCB grew to an all-time high with 30 company dancers, 15 second company dancers, 64 full-time and part-time staff, and a network of over 400 local volunteers. The KCB, its school, and its staff are all housed in, operate from, and rehearse at the Todd Bolender Center for Dance and Creativity, a renovated, seven-studio, office, and rehearsal facility in Kansas City, Missouri, that opened in August 2011. The company performs at and is the resident ballet company at the nearby Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, a performance venue in downtown Kansas City that opened in September 2011.

The Urdang Academy, commonly known as Urdang, is an performing arts academy based in Islington, London. Founded as a ballet school by Leonie Urdang in 1970 and has been under the direction of CEO Solange Urdang since 2001, the academy now provides specialist vocational training in dance and musical theatre at Sixth Form, further and higher education level. It was acquired by City, University of London in April 2022.

The New London Performing Arts Centre (NLPAC) is a performing arts school in Muswell Hill, North London, founded in 1995 by Emily Byron. With 20 years of experience, NLPAC is an ISTD Approved Dance Centre and is registered by Ofsted and the CDET. NLPAC is a registered charity and all profits go back into providing high quality and affordable classes consisting of Ballet, Tap, Modern contemporary, Street Dance and jazz, and Drama. Pupils range from 3 onwards to 19.

Tahj Di Nero Miles is an English actor. He appears in the BBC series Death in Paradise (2021–22) and in films by director Steve McQueen (2020).
