Anne-Marie Hurst is an English singer. She is best known for her work with several gothic rock groups, including Skeletal Family and Ghost Dance. [1] [2] [3] She released her first solo album, Day of All Days, in 2011 on Jungle Records. [4] [5]

Marie Taglioni, Comtesse de Voisins was a Swedish-born ballet dancer of the Romantic ballet era partially of Italian descent, a central figure in the history of European dance. She spent most of her life in the Austrian Empire and France. She was one of the most celebrated ballerinas of the romantic ballet, which was cultivated primarily at Her Majesty's Theatre in London and at the Théâtre de l'Académie Royale de Musique of the Paris Opera Ballet. Marie Anne de Cupis de Camargo, sometimes known simply as La Camargo, was a French dancer. The first woman to execute the entrechat quatre, Camargo was also allegedly responsible for two innovations in ballet as she was one of the first dancers to wear slippers instead of heeled shoes, and, while there is no evidence that she was the first woman to wear the short calf-length ballet skirt, the now standardized ballet tights, she did help to popularize these. She is said to have been as strong as the male dancers.
Skeletal Family are an English rock band formed in Keighley, West Yorkshire, in December 1982. The band was formed from the remaining members of an earlier group called the Elements, and took their name from the title of the song "Chant of the Ever Circling Skeletal Family" from the 1974 David Bowie album, Diamond Dogs.
Burning Oil is the first studio album by Skeletal Family, released in 1984. The band had been together less than two years when this album was released by the independent label Red Rhino Records. Tracks 11-13 are bonus tracks.
Ghost Dance is a British gothic rock band formed in 1985 by Gary Marx and Anne-Marie Hurst as both were leaving their respective bands. The band were originally signed to Nick Jones' record label, Karbon Records, then were later signed to the major label Chrysalis Records, before splitting up in 1989.
