Annika Saarnak (from 2014 Annika Aljand, born 19 September 1988) is an Estonian butterfly, freestyle and medley swimmer. [1]

She is 15-time long course and 8-time short course Estonian swimming champion. She has broken 9 Estonian records in swimming. [2]

During her career she won 11 national (USSR) titles: in the 100 m freestyle, 400 m freestyle (1956–60) and 4×100 m freestyle (1958), and set 10 national records.

Kaire Indrikson is a retired Estonian backstroke swimmer who won two medals at the 1977 European Aquatics Championships. The same year she was chosen Estonian Sportspersonality of the year. During her career she set 33 Estonian records, and her record in the 200 m backstroke event stood from 1977 to 2009.

Anna-Liisa Põld is an Estonian-born American competition swimmer who has represented Estonia in international events. She competes in the backstroke, butterfly, and individual medley events. She is a two-time national record-holder at the FINA World Championships, and a multiple-time high school and collegiate record-holder. She also represented her birth nation Estonia at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China.

Shin Su-jong is a South Korean swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke events. He represented his nation South Korea at the 2008 Summer Olympics, and has won a silver medal, as a member of the men's 4 × 100 m medley relay team, at the 2006 Asian Championships in Singapore.

Eesti Ujumisliit is the governing body of swimming in Estonia. It is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1922 under the name of "Eesti Kerge-, Raske- ja Veespordiliit". It joined FINA in 1927 and LEN in 1929. In 1934, Eesti Veespordi Liit was founded. During the Soviet occupation, federation was closed and was re-founded in 1990 under the new name "Eesti Ujumisliit". In 1991, the federation was reinstated to FINA and LEN.
