Annouk van der Weijden (born 27 June 1986) is a former Dutch speed skater. Born in Leiderdorp, she competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, where she placed fifth in 3000 metres. [1] She competed again at the 2018 Winter Olympics and finished fourth in 5000 metres.

Gianni Petrus Cornelis Romme is a Dutch marathoner and a former long track speed skater. He won two gold medals at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano and was the World all-round champion in 2000 and 2003. Romme has been a coach since the 2006–07 speed skating season.
Irene Karlijn "Ireen" Wüst is a Dutch former long track speed skater. Wüst became the most successful speed skating Olympian ever by achieving at least one gold medal in each of five consecutive Winter Olympic appearances. Wüst is the second athlete to win a gold medal at five consecutive Olympics, Summer or Winter, and the first to do so in individual events.
Paulien van Deutekom was a Dutch champion speed skater who specialised in the middle to long distances, over 1000 and 1500 metres.
Adolph "Dolph" Frederik van der Scheer was a Dutch speed skater who competed in the 1936 Winter Olympics. He was born in Zutphen. In 1936 he finished ninth in the 1500 metres event, tenth in the 5000 metres competition, 14th in the 500 metres event, and 16th in the 10000 metres competition.

The competition was won by Ireen Wüst from the Netherlands, who previously won the same distance at the 2006 Winter Olympics. Carlijn Achtereekte is a Dutch former speed skater and current road cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam Visma–Lease a Bike. Achtereekte won three silver medals in the 5000 metres at the Dutch Single Distance Championships. At the 2015 World Single Distance Speed Skating Championships in Heerenveen, she won the silver medal at the 5000 metres event behind Martina Sáblíková. Currently Achtereekte is a professional cyclist, competing for Team Jumbo–Visma.

The 2018 KNSB Dutch Allround Championships in speed skating were held in Heerenveen at the Thialf ice skating rink from 27 January to 28 January 2018. The tournament was part of the 2017–2018 speed skating season. Marcel Bosker and Annouk van der Weijden won the allround titles.
