Anshan Sports Centre Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Anshan, China. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 40,000 people.
Anshan is an inland prefecture-level city in central-southeast Liaoning province, People's Republic of China, about 92 kilometres (57 mi) south of the provincial capital Shenyang. As of the 2020 census, it was Liaoning's third most populous city with a population of 3,325,372 people, over an area of about 9,270 km2 (3,580 sq mi) spanning 133 km (83 mi) from east to the west. Its built-up area encompassing the 4 Anshan urban districts, the 4 urban Liaoyang districts and Liaoyang county largely being conurbated, was home to 2,712,789 million inhabitants in 2020.
Cyrus I or Cyrus I of Anshan or Cyrus I of Persia, was King of Anshan in Persia from c. 600 to 580 BC or, according to others, from c. 652 to 600 BC. Cyrus I of Anshan is the grandfather of Cyrus the Great, also known as Cyrus II. His name in Modern Persian is کوروش, Kurosh, while in Greek he was called Κῦρος, Kȳros.

Ma'anshan Prison is a prison in Ma'anshan, Anhui, China. It was established in 1964. Formerly known as the Ma'anshan Pipe-casting Works. With funding from the City Metallurgy and Building Materials Bureau, the Magang General Company and the Prov. Ma'anshan Trust jointly managed the creation of the Magang Julong Company. In August 2006 began building a new construction that will hold 3000 inmates, 540 People's Police, and will cover an area of 400.46mu. It will be a high-security, medium-sized prison.
Teispids were an Iron Age branch of the Achaemenid dynasty originally ruling southern Zagros, in ancient Anshan. The dynasty’s realm was later expanded under Cyrus II who conquered a vast area in southwestern Asia, which later was known as the Achaemenid Empire under Darius I. The titulary of the Teispids is recorded on the Cyrus Cylinder, in which Cyrus II identifies himself and his ancestors with the title King of Anshan, as an Elamite tradition. Teispes being the eponymous ancestor and founder, the dynasty furthermore included Cyrus I, Cambyses I, Cyrus II, Cambyses II and Bardiya.
The Nanjing–Wuhu Expressway, commonly referred to as the Ningwu Expressway is a north-south bound expressway that connects Nanjing, the capital city of Jiangsu and Wuhu, Anhui. It is an auxiliary route of G42 Shanghai–Chengdu Expressway that connects the parallel G42 and G50 Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway. The expressway spans a length of 75 km (47 mi), passes two provinces and serves the cities of Nanjing, Jiangsu; Ma'anshan, Anhui; and Wuhu, Anhui. The north terminus of G4211 is at Tianbao Bridge in Yuhuatai District, Nanjing, and the south terminus connects to G50 and G5011 Wuhu-Hefei Expressway via a cloverleaf interchange in Wuhu. G4211 is a four-lane limited access tollway for its entire length.

He was investigated by the Communist Party of China's anti-graft agency in March 2016. At the time of his downfall, he was serving as vice-chairman of the Liaoning People's Congress.
