Anthonie Knapp is an American football offensive tackle for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
Knapp attended Roswell High School located in Roswell, Georgia. Coming out of high school, Knapp was rated as a three star recruit and the 41st overall offensive tackle, where he held offers from schools such as Notre Dame, Penn State, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Duke, Missouri and Louisville. [1] [2] Ultimately, Knapp committed to play college football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. [3] [4]
Heading into Knapp's true freshman season in 2024 he was named the Fighting Irish's starting left tackle after starter Charles Jagusah went down with a season-ending injury. [5] [6] Knapp was also named to the preseason freshman all-American team. [7] [8]
