Anthony Bucardo (born 27 August 1998) is an American racing cyclist who represents the US in BMX.
In 2019 Bucardo won the Golden Crank Award for Rookie Pro of the Year. Which would lead into him signing a 2 year deal with Haro's BMX Racing team to replace Olympian Nicholas Long. [1]
At the beginning of 2023 Bucardo would win the ELITE MEN USA BMX NATIONAL TITLE. Later in 2023 Bucardo would crash in Round 9 of the 2023 European Cup in Sakarya, Turkey causing a serious injury to his elbow which would make him miss a majority of the international racing in 2023. Bucardo returned to the international circuit for the final 2 rounds (9 & 10) of the UCI BMX World Cup racing in Santiago Del Estero. In Bucardos first action since injury he finished 50th in round 9 and 34th in round 10. Bucardo would later be quoted by reporters saying "I am just happy to be able to race. I can’t wait for more moving forward with more time on my bike. God got me n we learn from these hard times." [2]
On September 15th, 2023, Bucardo would announce via his Instagram that at the end of the 2023 season he will be parting ways with Haro and racing elsewhere in 2024. [3]
Bucardo has been known mainly for his ability behind the bike but what most people don't know is that he has a second career in music. Bucardo goes by the rap name "Yung Shibby" which stems from his lifelong nickname of Shibby. Bucardo created and shared most of his music on his Sound Cloud account under his rap name Yung Shibby. [4] Yung Shibby's most popular song would come in 2018 when he released ELEVATE FT. QB CAM which would have a feature from fellow BMX Rider Cameron Moore under the rap name "QB Cam". [5]
Mat Hoffman is an American BMX rider who was considered one of the best vert ramp riders in the history of the sport. He was nicknamed "The Condor" and ran the BMX Freestyle brand Hoffman BMX Bikes based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was a sponsored rider for Skyway and then Haro Bikes before starting his own brand.
David Michael Mirra was an American BMX rider who also competed in rallycross racing. He set the record for most medals in BMX Freestyle at the X Games and earned at least one BMX medal at the event in all but one year from the competition's inception in 1995 until 2009. He also competed for several years with the Subaru Rally Team USA as a rallycross driver. Mirra rode for and was fully sponsored by Haro Bikes from the mid-1990s until he started his own bike company. He was a member of the team which won the 2014 Race Across America four-person male category. Mirra died by suicide on February 4, 2016. He was inducted into the BMX Hall of Fame on June 11, 2016.
Freestyle BMX is bicycle motocross stunt riding on BMX bikes. It is an extreme sport descended from BMX racing that consists of five disciplines: street, park, vert, trails, and flatland. In June 2017, the International Olympic Committee announced that freestyle park was to be added as an Olympic event to the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Ryan Nyquist is an American professional BMX rider with 16 X Games medals, 39 X Games competition starts and 60 Dew Tour finals appearances. Nyquist is considered one of the greatest and diversely skilled BMX riders ever. Nyquist has won numerous gold medals in the X Games Dirt Jumping & Bike Park events. Recently Nyquist has had an interest in freeride mountain biking and has been training in mountain biking as well as BMX. He currently rides for Haro Bikes, Vans Shoes, Rockstar Energy Drink, and The Jiffy Market of Los Gatos.
Anne-Caroline Chausson is a French professional cyclist who competes in bicycle enduro, bicycle motocross (BMX), downhill time trial and cross-country mass start, dual, and four-cross mountain bicycle racing. She is best known for having won thirteen Union Cycliste Internationale senior mountain bike world championship rainbow jerseys, fourteen European mountain bike championships, and five consecutive Mountain Bike World Cup downhill series (1998-2002). She was nominated for the 2003 Laureus World Sports Awards Alternative Sportsperson of the Year. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, Chausson competed for France in the inaugural women's BMX event, winning the gold medal.

Michael White is an American football quarterback for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the South Florida Bulls and the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. White was selected in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL draft by the Dallas Cowboys, where he spent one season, before joining the New York Jets the following year. A backup during his first three seasons, White did not see any playing time until 2021 in relief of injured starter Zach Wilson.
