Anthony Derricks (born December 17, 1976) is a former Arena Football League defensive specialist/k.o. returner stand-out who played most recently for the Los Angeles Avengers. He holds Arena football records for kickoff returns in a game (11), return yards in a game (336) and touchdowns on returns in a game (4). [1] His 25.1 average per return on kickoffs for the 2000 season is also a record. [2] He finished second in the 2000 rookie of the year balloting.[ citation needed ]

College years

Derricks attended Mississippi State University from 1995 to 1999 and was a four-year letterman in football. His last college game was in the 1999 Cotton Bowl against the University of Texas Longhorns and the Heisman winning running back, Ricky Williams. [3]

Derrick Mason American football player

Derrick James Mason is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver for fifteen seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Tennessee Oilers in the fourth round of the 1997 NFL Draft after playing college football for the Michigan State Spartans. Following eight seasons with the Oilers franchise, including two Pro Bowl selections, Mason signed with the Baltimore Ravens in 2005. He became the Ravens' all-time leading receiver with 5,777 yards from 2005 to 2010. He spent 2011 with the New York Jets and Houston Texans. Mason retired as a Baltimore Raven on June 11, 2012. He was the last active NFL player to have played for the Oilers.

He played college football for Kent State University, and was signed by the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2005. He has tied the NFL career record with eight kickoff returns for touchdowns, and also the NFL record with two kickoffs of 100 yards or more returned for touchdowns in a single game. He has also played for the New York Jets, Oakland Raiders and Indianapolis Colts. He was most recently a special teams coaching intern for the Cleveland Browns.

D'Andrae Carnell Thurman is an American football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. He was signed by the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL) as an undrafted free agent in 2004. He played college football at Southern Oregon University.

Javier E. Arenas is a former American football cornerback. Arenas played college football for the University of Alabama, earned consensus All-American honors, and was a member of a BCS National Championship team. He was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He has also played for the Arizona Cardinals, New York Jets, Atlanta Falcons, and Buffalo Bills of the NFL. Arenas also had a brief stint with the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League.

Larry Taylor is a gridiron football wide receiver and kick returner who is currently a free agent. He originally signed with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League as a free agent in 2008. He played college football for the Connecticut Huskies, where he returned punts for touchdowns in each of the Huskies' first two bowl games—the 2004 Motor City Bowl and the 2007 Meineke Car Care Bowl.
