Anthony Alvin Steward II (born 13 October 1978 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American professional basketball player who has played primarily in countries besides the United States. Steward is currently playing with Club julio de 9 in Argentina (TNA) league.
Steward played for East Catholic High School (Detroit) in Detroit, Michigan and graduated in 1996. He signed with the Xavier University of Louisiana and played there for two years before transferring to University of North Alabama where he was named Honorable Mention All Gulf South Conference Team 2000. The 6'7", 220 lbs[1] forward has played for Grand Rapids Hoops, Michigan Mayhem and Flint Fuze of the CBA, Fayetteville Patriots of the N.B.A. D- League, Texas Rimrockers of the U.S.B.L, New Jersey Squires and Tijuana Diablos of the A.B.A, Hoofdorp Challengers in the Netherlands, Mellilos del Sur (DOM-Puerto Plata), San Carlos (DOM-District National) and San Sebastian (DOM-Moca League) in Dominican Republic, Al Widhat in Jordan. He also was in workouts with the Toronto Raptors, Detroit Pistons and Cleveland Cavaliers training.
Harry Edwin Heilmann, nicknamed "Slug", was an American baseball player and radio announcer. He played professional baseball for 19 years between 1913 and 1932, including 17 seasons in Major League Baseball with the Detroit Tigers and Cincinnati Reds. He was a play-by-play announcer for the Tigers for 17 years from 1934 to 1950.

He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the first round of the 2000 NFL Draft. He played college football for Michigan State University. Peterson also played for the Seattle Seahawks and the Detroit Lions.
James Joseph Harbaugh is an American football coach and former quarterback, who is the current head football coach of the Michigan Wolverines. He played college football at Michigan for coach Bo Schembechler from 1983 to 1986 and played in the National Football League (NFL) for 14 seasons from 1987 to 2000. He then served as the head coach of the San Diego Toreros (2004–2006), the Stanford Cardinal (2007–2010), and the NFL's San Francisco 49ers (2011–2014). In 2015, Harbaugh returned to his alma mater, Michigan.
Thomas Michael Tresh was a professional baseball infielder and outfielder who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Yankees (1961–1969) and Detroit Tigers (1969). Tresh was a switch-hitter and threw right-handed. He was the son of the MLB catcher Mike Tresh.
Darryl Dale Rogers was an American football player and coach. He served as the head coach at California State College at Hayward—now known as California State University, East Bay (1965), California State University, Fresno (1966–1972), San Jose State University (1973–1975), Michigan State University (1976–1979), and Arizona State University (1980–1984), compiling a career college football record of 129–84–7. From 1985 to 1988, Rogers was the head coach of Detroit Lions the National Football League (NFL), tallying a mark of 18–40. In 1991, served as head coach of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL), coaching the Blue Bombers to a 9–9 record and an appearance in the East Final.
The Catholic High School League (CHSL) is a school athletic conference based in Detroit, Michigan, led by director Victor Michaels. All member schools are also members of the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA), the governing body for Michigan scholastic sports. Unlike many similar leagues, the CHSL governs secondary, middle, and elementary sports for most of the parochial schools in the Detroit area. Most league schools are Catholic, but there are other religious denominations as well. Every school in the CHSL is a private school. In 2019, the CHSL council voted to rename the AB/ Division I/II championship to the Bishop division championship, and the CD/ Division III/IV championship to the Cardinal Division championship.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. High School is located at 3200 East Lafayette Boulevard in Detroit, Michigan; the building is operated by the Detroit Board of Education. King's district encompasses Downtown and Midtown Detroit; it also includes Lafayette Park, the Martin Luther King Apartments and Riverfront Condominiums. The Brewster-Douglass Housing Projects were zoned to MLK prior to their demolition. In addition it includes the three Wayne State University housing complexes that permit families with children.
Kevin Craig Brooks is a former American football defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions. He was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the first round of the 1985 NFL Draft. He played college football at the University of Michigan.
Frederick James Blanding, nicknamed "Fritz," was an American baseball player. He played five seasons as a right-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball for the Cleveland Naps from 1910 to 1914. He pitched a six-hit shutout against Walter Johnson in his Major League debut in September 1910. His best seasons were 1912 and 1913, during which time he compiled a record of 33–24. His career record with Cleveland was 46-46.
John Vitale was an American football player. He played college football as a center and offensive guard for the University of Michigan from 1985 to 1988. He was selected as a consensus All-American center in 1988. He later played professional football for the San Antonio Riders of the World League of American Football in 1991 and the Detroit Drive of the Arena Football League from 1993 to 1994.

Paul Nathan Seal is a former American football player. He played college football as a tight end for the University of Michigan from 1971 to 1973 and professional football as a tight end in the National Football League (NFL) for the New Orleans Saints from 1974 to 1976 and for the San Francisco 49ers from 1977 to 1979. In his six-year NFL career, Seal totaled 106 receptions, 1,586 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
