Antwane L. "Juice" Wells Jr. (born April 2, 2001) is an American football wide receiver For the Ole Miss Rebels. He also previously played for the James Madison Dukes and the South Carolina Gamecocks.
Wells Jr. attended Highland Springs High School in Highland Springs, Virginia. As a senior, he had 36 catches for 880 yards and 12 touchdowns. He spent one year at Fork Union Military Academy, before committing to play college football at James Madison University. [1] [2]
As a freshman at James Madison in 2020, Wells Jr. played in all eight games with four starts and had a team leading 33 receptions for 603 yards with six touchdowns. [3] As a sophomore in 2021, he started all 14 games and had 83 receptions for a school record 1,250 yards and 15 touchdowns. [4] [5]
Prior to the 2022 season, Wells Jr. transferred to the University of South Carolina. [6] [7] He became a starter his first year with the team. [8]
On December 3, 2023, Wells announced that he would be entering the transfer portal for the second time. [9]
On December 17, 2023, Wells announced that he would be transferring to the University of Mississippi to play for the Rebels. [10]
The James Madison Dukes football program represents James Madison University in the sport of American football. The Dukes compete in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) as a member of the Sun Belt Conference (SBC), beginning play within the conference for the 2022 season. The university first fielded a football team in 1972, and the Dukes play at the on-campus Bridgeforth Stadium in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The Dukes are currently coached by Bob Chesney.
The 2009 South Carolina Gamecocks football team represented the University of South Carolina in the 2009 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team's head coach was Steve Spurrier, who was in his fifth season at USC. The Gamecocks played their home games at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, South Carolina. Carolina finished the season 7–6, winning the Palmetto Bowl over in-state rival Clemson 34–17 in their final regular season game, before losing in the PapaJohns.com Bowl 20–7 against Connecticut.
Rodney Landers is a former American football player. He played college football as the starting quarterback for the James Madison Dukes of James Madison University (JMU). He was not selected in the 2009 NFL Draft, where due to his speed and flexibility he had been considered a potential defensive back, running back, wide receiver, or quarterback prospect. He spent time with the Richmond Revolution as a back-up Quarterback, Receiver and Return Specialist.

The team's head coach was Steve Spurrier, who was in his sixth season at USC. The Gamecocks played their home games at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, South Carolina and were members of the East Division of the Southeastern Conference. The Gamecocks finished the season 9–5, 5–3 in SEC play to win the East Division for the first and only time in program history. They earned their first appearance in the SEC Championship where they were defeated by Auburn 17–56. They were invited to the Chick-fil-A Bowl, where they were defeated by Florida State 17–26.
