The Arabic Weightlifting Federation (AWF) is the governing body of Olympic Weightlifting for 19 countries in the Middle East and North Africa. The AWF organizes the IWF Arab Championships. [1]

The International Weightlifting Federation, aka IWF, is the international governing body for the sport of Weightlifting. Headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, it has 193 affiliated national federations. Mohammed Hasan Jalood is its president since June 2022.

Constantine Vasiliades is a Cypriot male weightlifter, competing in the 69 kg category and representing Cyprus at international competitions. He competed at world championships, most recently at the 2007 World Weightlifting Championships. He participated at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in the 69 kg event.

This is the list of world records progression in women's weightlifting. Records are maintained in each weight class for the snatch lift, clean and jerk lift, and the total for both lifts.

The following are the national youth records in Olympic weightlifting in Iran. Records are maintained in each weight class for the snatch lift, clean and jerk lift, and the total for both lifts by the I.R. Iran Weightlifting Federation.
