The library serves the communities and cities of Campbell, Cupertino, Gilroy, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Milpitas, Monte Sereno, Morgan Hill, Saratoga, and all unincorporated areas of Santa Clara County. Other cities in Santa Clara County run their own library systems. In addition to these libraries, the library provides mobile library service with a bookmobile which visits preschools, retirement communities, migrant farmworker camps, and rural communities without easy access to library services. The Sausalito Library is a public library serving the City of Sausalito and environs in Marin County, California. The library opened in 1974 at its present location of 420 Litho Street in Sausalito. The library collection consists of over 45,000 books. Services offered include programs for adults and children, Internet access, online databases, downloadable e-books and e-audiobooks, museum passes, and assistance with downloading library ebooks onto personal devices. The library is a member of the Marin Automated Resources and Information Network (MARINet), a consortium of publicly funded libraries in Marin County. Abbot Chambers is the current City Librarian following Mary Richardson's retirement in July, 2011. Richardson had been the City Librarian of the Sausalito Library since 1985.
The Palm Beach County Library System is the public library system of Palm Beach County, Florida. Its headquarters, the Main Library, is located in an unincorporated area near West Palm Beach, the county seat. The system was established in 1967 and serves Palm Beach County through the Main Library and 17 branch libraries. Its first library branch opened in Tequesta on September 25, 1969 and its first bookmobile five days later. Unlike neighboring Broward and Miami-Dade counties, where most municipalities have joined their county's library system, most municipalities in Palm Beach County continue to operate their own city libraries, leading the county system to focus on the more suburban communities. Instead, a cooperative system model is in place to allow interoperation between county and municipal libraries.

The Linden Free Public Library maintains an organized system for collecting, storing, and circulating materials for library patrons so that they can be retrieved when needed. There are active Friends of the Library groups associated with two branches. There are approximately 13,091 registered resident borrowers, 1,269 non-resident borrowers, and 72,000 bibliographic records in the catalog. Annual circulation was 66,626 in 2009. The main library offers free wireless access to the Internet and Internet Terminals for public use.

The Pasco County Library Cooperative (PCLC) is the public library system that serves all residents of Pasco County, Florida, and is a member of the Tampa Bay Library Consortium. The Pasco County Library System, as it was originally known, was established by county ordinance in 1980. In 1999, the Pasco County Public Library Cooperative was established as a result of an Interlocal Agreement between the Pasco County Board of County Commissioners and the Zephyrhills City Council. It consists of seven branch libraries and one cooperative partner library, Zephyrhills Public Library. The Pasco County Libraries operate on a budget of $6,344,041 for fiscal year 2016. The Sedona Public Library (SPL) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1964 in Arizona. The mission of this organization is to "enrich the lives of residents and visitors by serving as a center for community activities and providing information, cultural, and civic services that are responsive, affordable, and enjoyable." Specifically, the Library serves the needs of the community of Sedona Arizona by providing youth and family services, community rooms, job finding resources, Internet access, online resources, print materials, eBooks, and entertainment services and much more. In addition to a staff of 16 employees and a volunteer board of trustees, volunteer workers provide 16,000 hours of vital service to the Library's everyday operation. The Friends of the Sedona Library, Inc. support the library through raising funds and by volunteering. The Friends are a separate entity from the Sedona Public Library.
