Aravind Annadurai (born 5 July 1993) is an Indian basketball player who played power forward position of the Indian basketball national team. He represented the Indian team for the first time in 2010. He is 203cm in height (6'8").

Personal life

Annadurai was born in Tanjore, Tamil Nadu, India on 5 July 1993. His father was a farmer cultivating paddy in their own fields. During his youth, Aravind Annadurai was inspired and attracted towards sports because of his uncle who was a kabaddi player in his local town; by the motivation given by his uncle, Aravind Annadurai grew as a basket player. Aravind Annadurai finished his college studies at AVC College, Mayiladuthurai, India in a sports quota.[ citation needed ]

Early domestic career

Annadurai was a player for the Indian-Overseas-Bank (Chennai) team. [1]

International career

Annadurai entered the Indian nation basketball team in 2010, saying: "I always want[ed] to play hard defense, get rebounds and help the team". [2]
