Arbana Osmani (born 7 May 1983) is an Albanian television presenter and journalist, best known for presenting Big Brother Albania and its celebrity version Big Brother VIP.

Career

She started her career in 2000 as a journalist for the Intervista magazine. Later she started working for Top Albania Radio, first as a radio presenter for shows like Top Select in 2002.

Later she went on to work in television at Top Channel, she presented for four seasons the popular show Top Fest , together with other TV presenters such as Ledion Liço, Xhemi Shehu, Alban Dudushi and Evis Mula. She has also presented other shows like Pasdite në Top Channel, E diell, 1001 pse?!, an entertainment children's show and other shows.

For 7 editions in a row, from 2008 until 2014, Osmani presented Albania's most watched reality show, Big Brother Albania . [1] [2] In 2013 she confirmed that Big Brother would go on hiatus for a year. She was then working on her cooking book. [3] [4] However, Big Brother returned with a seventh season on 22 February, 2014, with Osmani returning as well as the host of the show. She did not return for the eighth season, due to pregnancy. The main host was Ledion Liço. Osmani returned to the show as a presenter for its ninth season.

In 2015–2016 season, she presented for one season the game show Në 1 javë. From 29 October, 2016, and for 5 seasons she presented the show Dua te te bej te lumtur on Top Channel.

On 17 August, 2021, Osmani announced on her Instagram account that she would be presenting the celebrity version of Big Brother VIP Albania , that began airing on 5 October 2021 on Top Channel. [5] [6] Due to satisfactory ratings of the first season, Top Channel announced a second season of Big Brother VIP, which began airing in December 2022, with Osmani being the presenter of the show. In 2022, Osmani made an appearance as herself on the film Sophia.

Osmani hosted the 61st edition of the annual Albanian music competition Festivali i Këngës on RTSH. [9]

Osmani was in a relationship with Ardit Kero for 16 years. They have a son, Joni.

Osmani met musical director Eduart Grishaj in 2019. They have a son, Diell (born 2020) [10] and a daughter, Zoi (born 2022). [11]

Kledi Kadiu is an Albanian-born, naturalized Italian dancer, choreographer, dance teacher, and television personality. He is a regular dancer on the popular talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi, which is presented by Maria De Filippi on Mediaset's Canale 5. He starred in his first film Passa a Due in 2005. He is the founder of the Kledi Dance school in Rome. In 2008, Kadiu became an Italian citizen.

Albania participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark, with the song "One Night's Anger" performed by Hersi. Its selected entry was chosen through the national selection competition Festivali i Këngës organised by Radio Televizioni Shqiptar (RTSH) in December 2013. Up until this point, the nation had participated in the Eurovision Song Contest ten times since its first entry in 2004.

Festivali i Këngës 61 was the 61st edition of the annual Albanian music competition Festivali i Këngës. The contest was organised by Radio Televizioni Shqiptar (RTSH) at the Palace of Congresses in Tirana, Albania. It encompassed two semi-finals held on 19 and 20 December, succeeded by a nostalgia night on 21 December and culminated in the final on 22 December 2022. The four live shows were hosted by Arbana Osmani. Elsa Lila resulted as the winner of the contest with the song "Evita". The Albanian representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 was selected by the public, with "Duje" performed by Albina and Familja Kelmendi emerging as the representative.

Big Brother VIP – Fans' Club is a spinoff of the Albanian reality series Big Brother VIP, and is the Celebrity version of Big Brother – Fans' Club. The show premiered on 17 October 2021 on Top Channel. Big Brother VIP – Fans' Club was announced in September 2021 and has received its own title card and promotional videos. Throughout its first season a total of 19 episodes aired and concluded on 15 February 2022. The series was renewed for a second season and began airing on 8 January 2023.

Big Brother VIP 3, was the third season of Big Brother VIP, hosted by Ledion Liço, replacing Arbana Osmani. The season began airing on 13 January 2024 on Top Channel, and ended after 134 days on 25 May 2024. The whole season, live from the house, can be viewed in two live pay-per-view channels, with the name Big Brother VIP 1 and Big Brother VIP 2, which are available on Albanian television platform DigitAlb. Arbër Hajdari returned as opinionist in the live evictions shows and was joined by Ori Nebijaj, replacing Zhaklin Lekatari. In the third live show, season 1 housemate Einxhel Shkira replaced Arbër Hajdari who was temporarily away.

Big Brother VIP Kosova 3, is the third season of Big Brother VIP Kosova, once again hosted by Alaudin Hamiti and Jonida Vokshi. The season began airing on 18 October 2024 on Klan Kosova.
