Arbroath Catherine Street railway station served the town of Arbroath, Angus, Scotland from 1839 to 1848 on the Arbroath and Forfar Railway.
The station opened on 3 January 1839 by the Aberdeen Railway. A goods line continued to the east that served Arbroath Harbour. There was also a trainshed and a locomotive shed. The station closed on 1 February 1848 [1] but it remained open as a goods shed.
Gathurst railway station is a two-platform railway station on the outskirts of the Metropolitan Borough of Wigan, Greater Manchester, England. The station is on the Southport line 2+3⁄4 miles north west of Wigan Wallgate station. The station also serves the nearby village of Shevington, indeed until 1973 was named Gathurst for Shevington. It is currently operated by Northern Trains.

The Dundee and Perth Railway was a Scottish railway company. It opened its line in 1847 from Dundee to a temporary station at Barnhill and extended to Perth station in 1849. It hoped to link with other railways to reach Aberdeen and changed its name to the Dundee and Perth and Aberdeen Railway Junction Company, but this early attempt was frustrated, and for some years it failed to make a physical connection with other railways in Dundee.
Aby for Claythorpe was a railway station on the East Lincolnshire Railway which served the hamlets of Aby and Claythorpe in Lincolnshire between 1848 and 1961. It originally opened as Claythorpe, but was renamed in 1885. Withdrawal of goods facilities took place in 1961, on the same day that the station was closed to passengers. The line through the station is closed.
Burgh-le-Marsh was a railway station on the East Lincolnshire Railway which served the town of Burgh le Marsh in Lincolnshire between 1848 and 1970. It originally opened as Burgh, but was renamed in 1923. Withdrawal of goods facilities took place in 1966, followed by passenger services in 1970. The line through the station is now closed.
