Ardscotnish, also known as Ardskeodnish, is a former location, in Argyll and Bute, Scotland approximating to the present parish of Kilmartin.
Argyll and Bute is one of 32 unitary authority council areas in Scotland and a lieutenancy area. The administrative centre for the council area is in Lochgilphead.
Kilmartin is a small village in Argyll and Bute, western Scotland. It is best known as the centre of Kilmartin Glen, an area with one of the richest concentrations of prehistoric monuments and historical sites in Scotland. It contains over 800 monuments within a 6-mile radius. It is home to Kilmartin Museum and the Kilmartin Hotel.

The Douglas C-133 Cargomaster is an American large turboprop cargo aircraft built between 1956 and 1961 by the Douglas Aircraft Company for use with the United States Air Force. Fowlis Castle is situated five miles north-west of Dundee, Scotland, in the hamlet of Fowlis. It is a tower house dating from the seventeenth century. It was held by the Maule family and then by the Mortimers before coming to the Gray family in 1337. Sir Alexander Gray of Broxmouth was made Lord Gray of Fowlis. The castle is currently occupied as a farm house, and is a category B listed building.

Treffynnon is a hamlet of about twenty houses located between St.Davids and Fishguard, about a mile inland from the A487 at Croesgoch in Pembrokeshire. On the edge of the village stands Treffynnon Chapel, a Welsh Calvinistic Methodist foundation, originally built in 1867 and rebuilt in 1876. Treffynnon has only one named road with the unusual address of Council Houses, a row of six local authority dwellings dating from the 1960s known locally as The Street.
