<span class="mw-page-title-main">Before Dark</span> American R&B girl group

Before Dark was an American R&B girl group that originated in the late 1990s. The group consisted of sisters Arike Rice and Jeni Rice Genzuk, and their friend Mia Wright, all from South Central Los Angeles. The group released the album Daydreamin' on July 11, 2000, on the RCA Records label with a single called "Baby" featuring rapper Solé. They also made a guest appearance on Tyrese's self-titled debut album. Later in 2000, the single "Monica" hit #77 on the Billboard Top 100 chart and #7 on the Billboard R&B sales chart. The group disbanded in 2001.

Voices was an American R&B vocal girl group from Los Angeles that was active during the late 1980s until the early 1990s. The group consisted of members Monique Wilson, Arike Rice, sisters LaPetra and LaToya McMoore, and well known twins Tia and Tamera Mowry.

Jeassy, also known as J. C. or Jesey, was an Indian director and actor of Malayalam movies. His first film as an actor was Ramu Kariat's Ezhu Rathrikal. Some of his notable films as an actor were Adimakal, Kallichellamma, Allahu Akbar, Manpeda, Kuttyedathi and Ganga Sangamam. Shapamoksham, made in 1974, was his first film as a director. Since the early 1970s, he has directed some 30 movies.

Arike is a 2012 Indian Malayalam romantic comedy film by Shyamaprasad, starring Dileep, Samvrutha Sunil and Mamta Mohandas. The film, based on a Bengali short story by Sunil Gangopadhyay, was produced under the banner of Picture Perfect and has a script by Shyamaprasad, cinematography by Alagappan, editing by Vinod Sukumaran and music by Ouseppachan.
