Arjei Franklin (born April 25, 1982) is a former Canadian professional football slotback who played for the Calgary Stampeders and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League.

Professional career

Winnipeg Blue Bombers

Franklin was drafted by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the 2006 CFL Draft, 3rd round, 19th overall, after starring at the University of Windsor.

Calgary Stampeders

Franklin was traded to the Calgary Stampeders on September 20, 2009.

On February 7, 2013, Franklin retired from professional football. [1]

In 2018 Franklin began a career as a police constable with the Windsor Police Service in Windsor, Ontario. [2]

Matt O'Meara is a former professional Canadian football guard who played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League. He was signed on for two years by the Roughriders as the third overall selection in the 2005 CFL Draft, with his position as offensive lineman on the injury reserve list for the team. He played CIS Football at his alumni McMaster University, his position being offensive tackle. While at McMaster University, he became the 2003/2004 OUA First Team All-Star. He played in three Yates Cup championships before he signed on with the Roughriders in 2005.

Taurean Allen is a former professional Canadian football defensive back who played for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). The Stampeders selected Allen in the second round of the 2010 CFL Draft. He played college football for the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks. In 2010, Allen played in six regular season games for the Stampeders, recording seven tackles. He did not play in the 2011 season due to injury and was released shortly thereafter.

The Windsor Lancers football team represents the University of Windsor in Windsor, Ontario in the sport of Canadian football in the Ontario University Athletics conference of U Sports. He was a member of their Grey Cup championship team that year and later had stints with the Toronto Argonauts, Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He played his only game with the Tiger-Cats in 2017.
