Arjeta Puca (born circa 1986) is an Albanian computer engineer, entrepreneur, and the founder and CEO of TIMAK , a company based in Tirana specializing in the production of ambulances, fire trucks, armored vehicles, and mobile units for humanitarian and defense purposes. [1]
Puca was born in Bulqizë, Albania, and moved to Turkey with her family in 1991. [2] She earned a degree in computer engineering and worked in her family’s vehicle superstructure business. Later, she gained R&D experience at Bosch in Germany and Japan.
In 2016, Puca returned to Albania and founded TIMAK . The company produces specialized vehicles, including:
TIMAK exports its vehicles to North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Libya, Chile, and Ukraine. [4] It collaborates with UN agencies on humanitarian missions.
Puca emphasizes gender inclusion in manufacturing. About 70% of Timak’s workforce is female. [5] The company has signed the UN Women's Empowerment Principles and supports technical training and mentoring for women.
In 2024, Timak unveiled the SHOTA (Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected) vehicle at the Eurosatory exhibition in France. [6] The vehicle was praised for its domestic design and export potential.
