Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi is an upcoming 2025 Indian Telugu-language action drama film co-written and directed by Pradeep Chilukuri and produced by Ashok Vardhan Muppa and Sunil Balusu. [1] The film stars Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Vijayashanti in the lead roles alongside Sohail Khan, Saiee Manjrekar and Meka Srikanth in pivotal roles. [2] [3] It is a spiritual sequel of 1990 successful movie Karthavyam (1990 film) where Vijayshanti reprises her legendary role as Vijayanthi IPS.
The film is scheduled to release theatrically on 18 April 2025. [4] [5]
The film was initially referred to as NKR21, and officially launched on 20 October 2023, with a muhurtham ceremony in Hyderabad. [6]
The makers unveiled the first glimpse of the film, starring Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. [7] On 24 June 2024, they released a special birthday glimpse video for Vijayashanti. [8] On 30 July 2024, the climax shoot was completed. [9] On 24 October 2024, the film's new schedule kicked off in Vizag. [10]
On 21 December 2024, the makers of the film released a poster featuring Sohail Khan as the antagonist, marking his debut in Telugu cinema. [11] On 8 March 2025, the official title of the film was announced as Arjun S/O Vyajayanthi. [12] On 17 March 2025, the teaser of the film was released. [13]
