Anand is an Indian actor who works predominantly in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films along with a few Kannada films. He has also acted in several Malayalam TV shows.
The actor's biggest film till date is Mani Ratnam's black comedy film Thiruda Thiruda , but unlike his co-stars of that film, it failed to give him a breakthrough. He has also played second lead roles and supporting characters in several films including Kamal Haasan's Sathya and Vijayakanth's Poonthotta Kaavalkaaran . [1]
Anand was born in Hyderabad as the youngest of four sons. His father V. S. Bharathi, worked for Brooke Bond India Ltd, and his mother Rajalakshmi is a house wife. His brothers are B. Ramesh, a Vice President of Finance with Times of India , Dr. B. Suresh, a teacher at English Vivekananda College, and Bharat Arun, a former Indian cricketer and now bowling coach for Indian cricket team. Anand also owns a restaurant named Zenzerro in Thiruvananthapuram. [2] [3]
Anand is married to actress Poornima since 2009.
He made his film debut in 1987 with Vanna Kanavugal . [4] [5] He is best known for his works in films such as Sathya (1988), Anbe En Anbe (1988), Apoorva Sagodharargal (1989), Oor Mariyadhai (1992), Thalaivasal (1992), Thiruda Thiruda (1993), screened at the Toronto International Film Festival, and Enakku 20 Unakku 18 (2003). Anand also produced and directed a Malayalam short film "Kassu Panam Thuttu Money Money". [2] [3] His recent works as a character actor include hits such as 1: Nenokkadine (2014), Ring Master (2014), Ivan Maryadaraman (2015), Srimanthudu (2015), and Gentleman (2016). [8]
In 2000, the actor was involved in drunk driving hit and run case, where he hit a police officer who had tried to stop him. The police officer, Ramachandran, subsequently died due to his injuries and the actor faced a murder charge. [4] The actor made a financial settlement with the victim's family. [5] Later he was acquitted, and was found innocent.[ citation needed ]
His house in Uthandi, Chennai was burgled in 2008 and the actor cited that it was an "inside job". [8]

Parthasarathy Srinivasan, known professionally as Kamal Haasan, is an Indian actor, film director, film producer, screenwriter, choreographer, playback singer, lyricist, television presenter, social activist and politician who works in Tamil cinema. Besides Tamil films, he has also appeared in some Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Bengali films. Considered as one of the greatest and most respected actors in Indian cinema, Haasan is also known for introducing many new innovations to the Indian film industry. He has won numerous accolades, including four National Film Awards, nine Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, four Nandi Awards, one Rashtrapati Award, two Filmfare Awards and eighteen Filmfare Awards South. He was awarded the Kalaimamani Award in 1984, the Padma Shri in 1990, the Padma Bhushan in 2014 and the Order of Arts and Letters (Chevalier) in 2016.
Priyadarshan is an Indian film director and screenwriter. In a career spanning almost three decades, Priyadarshan has directed over 90 films in several Indian languages, predominantly Malayalam and Hindi, besides eight in Tamil, and two in Telugu. He is recipient of several accolades including three National Film Awards and Kerala State Film Awards. In 2012, the Government of India honoured him the Padma Shri, country's fourth highest civilian award.

Prashanth Thiagarajan, known professionally as Prashanth, is an Indian actor, businessman, playback singer and film producer known for his works predominantly in Tamil cinema. Besides Tamil films, he has also appeared in few Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam films.
Anbe Sivam is a 2003 Indian Tamil-language slice-of-life drama film directed by Sundar C and produced by K. Muralitharan, V. Swaminathan and G. Venugopal under the banner of Lakshmi Movie Makers. The film was written by Kamal Haasan, and Madhan provided the dialogues. Anbe Sivam stars Haasan, Madhavan and Kiran Rathod, with Nassar, Santhana Bharathi, Seema and Uma Riyaz Khan playing supporting characters. Thiruda Thiruda is a 1993 Indian Tamil-language black comedy caper film directed by Mani Ratnam written along with Ram Gopal Varma. The film stars Prashanth, Anand, Anu Aggarwal and Heera Rajagopal while S. P. Balasubrahmanyam and Salim Ghouse play supporting roles. The film's soundtrack and background score were composed by A. R. Rahman while the cinematography was handled by P. C. Sriram. In 1994, the film premièred at the Toronto International Film Festival. It also won the National Film Award for Best Special Effects.This is the only film that Anu Aggarwal has acted in Tamil.

P. C. Sreeram is an Indian cinematographer and film director who works in Indian films. He is also the president of Qube Cinemas, a digital cinema technology company. He is an alumnus of the Madras Film Institute. Apart from his work as a cinematographer, Sreeram was much appreciated for his directorial venture Kuruthipunal. The film was internationally acclaimed and was submitted by India as its official entry to the Oscars in 1996. He is widely regarded as one of the finest and most acclaimed composers in the history of Indian cinema.
