Ooberman were an English band first formed in 1997 in Liverpool, England. The band released their debut album The Magic Treehouse in 1999. They split up in 2003, shortly after the release of their second album Hey Petrunko, but reformed in 2006 and released their third album Carried Away the same year. Six of their singles have charted on the UK singles chart, with "Blossoms Falling" (1999) peaking at #39.

Little Glitches are a folktronica collective from Sheffield, UK. The group formed in 2004 after collaborating and writing together in previous bands. The founding members of the collective are Andrew Bolam, Gavin Harris (drums), Iain Stewart, and Sam Smith. All four members share vocal duties and they have been noted for their strong four part harmonies and song writing in numerous newspaper and magazine articles; such as Sandman magazine, Dazed & Confused magazine and the Sheffield Telegraph. Since 2010 the band has begun taking a more collective based approach to their music making, working independently and jointly with other local musicians. During 2012 several new demo tracks appeared on their website blog and there are rumours of new releases in 2013.
The Lovely Eggs are a two-piece lo-fi psychedelic punk rock band from Lancaster, England. They consist of married couple Holly Ross and David Blackwell. Ross was formerly the lead singer and guitarist in the all-female band Angelica.
Silvery are a London-based 4-piece indie rock band, signed to Blow Up Records.
"Lovers in Japan" is a song by British rock band Coldplay. It was written by all members of the band for their fourth studio album, Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends. The song is built around an introductory tack piano sound, then followed by chiming guitars and soaring choruses, supported by the pianos and rhythms that accompany the song's lyrics. The album version of "Lovers in Japan" shares the track with the song "Reign of Love".
Skint & Demoralised are a British alternative indie/pop act, fronted by lyricist Matt Abbott from Wakefield, West Yorkshire and produced by David Gledhill from Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Formed in 2007, the band released several records and toured the UK between 2007 and 2013. After spending six years pursuing individual projects, Skint & Demoralised announced a new single, which was released on Fierce Panda in spring 2019.
"Take It Easy Chicken" is a song by Chester rock band Mansun first released in 1995. It was the first song that the group ever recorded, and was later re-recorded and released as the lead track of the Two EP, the group's fourth release overall. An instrumental version appears in the PAL version of Gran Turismo 2.

Lines Across Maps are a British math rock band based in Lincolnshire, England. Their music is characterized by a use of complex time signatures and heavy, guitar driven sounds. In December 2011, shortly after the release of their debut EP, Stuart Smith of This Town Needs Guns described the band as "a lot like Colour ". The name Lines Across Maps is taken from the This Town Needs Guns song "It's Not True Rufus, Don't Listen To The Hat". Lines Across Maps cite bands such as Jocasta Sleeps, Reuben, Oceansize, Biffy Clyro, Twin Atlantic, Blakfish and Meet Me In St Louis as major influences.
Deap Vally are an American rock duo, formed in Los Angeles, California in 2011. The group consists of Lindsey Troy and Julie Edwards. They have released four albums, an EP and a number of singles. Both albums reached the UK Albums Chart.

Sparkadia was an Australian rock band, formed in Sydney in 2004. They were originally known as The Spark. The band was formed by Alexander Burnett and Dave Hall (drums), and eventually expanded with the addition of Nick Rabone (bass) and Josephine Ayling in 2006. In 2008 Ayling was replaced by Tiffany Preece on guitars and vocals. By 2009 Sparkadia was Burnett's solo project. Sparkadia released two studio albums, Postcards and The Great Impression.
The Wimmins' Institute was a four-piece all-female indie rock band from London, England, formed in 2015.
