Arkansas Communication and Theatre Arts Association (ACTAA) is a non-profit professional organization serving educators and students of oral communication, debate, forensics, theatre arts, and dance the U.S. state of Arkansas.

U.S. state constituent political entity of the United States

In the United States, a state is a constituent political entity, of which there are currently 50. Bound together in a political union, each state holds governmental jurisdiction over a separate and defined geographic territory and shares its sovereignty with the federal government. Due to this shared sovereignty, Americans are citizens both of the federal republic and of the state in which they reside. State citizenship and residency are flexible, and no government approval is required to move between states, except for persons restricted by certain types of court orders. Four states use the term commonwealth rather than state in their full official names.

Arkansas State of the United States of America

Arkansas is a state in the southern region of the United States, home to over 3 million people as of 2018. Its name is of Siouan derivation from the language of the Osage denoting their related kin, the Quapaw Indians. The state's diverse geography ranges from the mountainous regions of the Ozark and the Ouachita Mountains, which make up the U.S. Interior Highlands, to the densely forested land in the south known as the Arkansas Timberlands, to the eastern lowlands along the Mississippi River and the Arkansas Delta.

National Forensic League Arkansas District

Formed in 2011–12 school year, the National Forensic League (NFL) approved the creation of the Arkansas NFL District (No. 109) and its 13 charter schools to this forensics honor society.

Fayetteville High School (Arkansas)

Fayetteville High School is a public high school located in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The school is administered by the Fayetteville Public Schools system, formerly headed by Paul Hewitt, who retired on June 30, 2016 and was replaced by Dr. Matthew Wendt. Dr. Wendt was removed as superintendent of schools in July or 2018 and was replaced by Dr. John L Colbert. The school recently underwent massive rebuilding and expansion with designs by architect Marlon Blackwell.

Bentonville High School

Bentonville High School (BHS) is a comprehensive public high school in Bentonville, Arkansas, United States. Founded in 1910, the school provides secondary education for more than 3,600 students in grades nine through twelve. It is one of nine public high schools in Benton County, and is one of two high schools of the Bentonville School District.

Cabot High School

Cabot High School (CHS) is a public high school serving students in grades ten through twelve in Cabot, Arkansas. CHS is administered by Cabot Public Schools, which serves the city and most of northern Lonoke County.

In 2012–13, Episcopal Collegiate School gained membership to the Arkansas NFL District. [1]

Episcopal Collegiate School is an independent college preparatory school located in Little Rock, Arkansas established in 1998 under the name "The Cathedral School."

Little Rock Central High School (LRCHS) is an accredited comprehensive public high school in Little Rock, Arkansas, United States. The school was the site of forced desegregation in 1957 after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that segregation of public schools was unconstitutional three years earlier. This was during the period of heightened activism in the Civil Rights Movement. Central is located at the intersection of Daisy L. Gatson Bates Drive and Park Street.

North Pulaski High School was a public secondary school located in Jacksonville, Arkansas and served students in grades 9 through 12. North Pulaski was administered by the Pulaski County Special School District. Since 1979, North Pulaski has been accredited by the AdvancED. North Pulaski was merged with Jacksonville High School in 2016 as a part of the Jacksonville North Pulaski School District.

Arkansas Activities Association organization

The Arkansas Activities Association (AAA) is the primary sanctioning body for high school sports in state of Arkansas. AAA is a member association of the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFSHSA). Every public secondary school in Arkansas is a de jure member of the AAA, and most private schools, save for a few schools in the delta that belong to the Mississippi Private Schools Association, are included in membership.

Rogers Heritage High School is a comprehensive public high school in Rogers, Arkansas for students in grades nine through twelve. The Rogers School District established the school in 2008. The first graduating class was in 2010.

North Little Rock High School

North Little Rock High School is a public school in North Little Rock, Arkansas, that is administered by the North Little Rock School District. As of the 2016–17 school year, the high school consists of one campus, which holds 9th - 12th grade.

John Parks Almand architect

John Parks Almand was an American architect who practiced in Arkansas from 1912 to 1962. Among other works, he designed the Art Deco Hot Springs Medical Arts Building, which was the tallest building in Arkansas from 1930 to 1958. Several of his works, including the Medical Arts Building and Little Rock Central High School, are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Monticello High School is an accredited public high school located in the rural community of Monticello, Arkansas, United States. The school provides comprehensive secondary education for approximately 600 students each year in grades 9 through 12. It is one of two public high schools in Drew County, Arkansas and the only high school administered by the Monticello School District.

Northwest Arkansas Place in the United States

Northwest Arkansas includes Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, and Bentonville, the third, fourth, eighth and tenth largest cities in Arkansas. Mark Dale Lowery is a college instructor and former lobbyist from Maumelle, Arkansas, who is a Republican member of the Arkansas House of Representatives for District 39 in Pulaski County near the capital city of Little Rock.

The 2013 Arkansas 7A High School Football Season began in the fall of the 2013-2014 school year. The first conference game was played Thursday, September 5, 2013 with the Catholic Rockets taking on the Hall Warriors. The season ended with the championship game on Friday, December 13, 2013, at War Memorial Stadium, during which the Bentonville Tigers defeated the Cabot Panthers.

The 2013 Arkansas High School 7A Boys Soccer Season was the 16th season of the highest classification of high school boys soccer in Arkansas since being sanctioned by the Arkansas Activities Association. The season officially began February 25, although 7A conference matches did not begin until March 7, 2013. The season concluded May 17, 2013 with the championship match.

The 2012 Arkansas High School 7A Boys Soccer Season was the 15th season of the highest classification of high school boys soccer in Arkansas since being sanctioned by the Arkansas Activities Association. The soccer season officially began February 27, although 7A conference matches did not begin until March 1, 2012. The season concluded May 18, 2012 with the championship match.

The 2014 Arkansas High School 7A Boys Soccer Season was the 17th season of the highest classification of high school boys soccer in Arkansas since being sanctioned by the Arkansas Activities Association. The first conference games were played on March 13, 2014. The season concluded on May 24, 2014 with the championship match.

The 2008 Arkansas High School 7A Boys Soccer Season was the 11th season of the highest classification of high school boys soccer in Arkansas since being sanctioned by the Arkansas Activities Association.

The 2007 Arkansas High School 7A Boys Soccer Season was the 10th season of the highest classification of high school boys soccer in Arkansas since being sanctioned by the Arkansas Activities Association. It was the first soccer season under the new classification system, in which 7A replaced AAAAA as the highest classification in the state.
