Armenia debuted at the European Song Contest EuroVoice in 2010, in Athens, Greece. Armenia is one of the countries that participated in the first contest. In 2010, Armenia was represented by the group Bambir with a song "That's Fine With Us" and took 3rd place. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]

Background

The interactive music competition "EuroVoice" took place for the first time in 2010. 33 European states took part in the competition. The winner of the competition was determined solely on the basis of SMS voting, and viewers could vote both "for" this artist and "against". [7] [8] [9]

Alexey Zhigalkovich Belarusian singer (born 1996)

Alexey Alexandrovich Zhigalkovich is a Belarusian singer. He participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2007 and won with one point more than the Armenian runner up. He sang the song "S druz'yami". It was a song with a fast tempo and energetic dancing. He wrote this song himself.

Belarus participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song "Butterflies" written by Maxim Fadeev, Robert Wells and Malka Chaplin. The song was performed by the band 3+2 featuring Robert Wells, who were internally selected by the Belarusian broadcaster National State Television and Radio Company of the Republic of Belarus (BTRC) to represent the nation at the 2010 contest in Oslo, Norway after broadcaster All-National TV (ONT), which was to take over BTRC, failed to receive EBU membership. 3+2 and the song "Far Away" were initially announced as the Belarusian entry on 25 February 2010, however the band opted to withdraw their song and the replacement entry, "Butterflies", was announced on 19 March 2010.

Alyona Lanskaya Belarusian singer (born 1985)

Alyona Lanskaya is a Belarusian singer. In 2011, she won the Slavianski Bazaar Contest in Vitebsk. Alyona represented Belarus in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, Sweden with the song "Solayoh", qualifying from the semi-final of the competition and placing 16th in the final by scoring 48 points.

"Artsakh" is an instrumental folk song from Armenian contemporary composer Ara Gevorgyan's 1999 album Ani. The song has become wildly popular in Armenia. Over the years, it has been used in cultural and political events and occasions. Figure skaters, gymnasts, and other athletes around the world have also used the song.

Iveta Mukuchyan Armenian singer (born 1986)

Iveta Mukuchyan is an Armenian-German singer-songwriter, model, and actress. Born in Yerevan, Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic, she moved to Hamburg, Germany, in 1992. Mukuchyan returned to Armenia in 2009 and placed fifth in the fourth season of the talent competition Hay Superstar. During this time, she received vocal training at the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory. Mukuchyan also participated for season two of The Voice of Germany in 2012.

Avet Barseghyan is an Armenian songwriter and TV host. He hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Yerevan, Armenia, alongside Gohar Gasparyan. He has also written several of Armenia's entries for both the Eurovision Song Contest and the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, as well as being the country's commentator since 2015. He hosted the third season of the Armenian edition of The X Factor.

Dayana Yurievna Kirillova is a Russian singer. She is a multiple laureate of Russian and international song contests, the Russian representative at the 2013 Slavianski Bazaar, and the Russian representative at the 2013 Junior Eurovision which took place on 30 November in Kyiv.

Kazakhstan in the Turkvision Song Contest

Kazakhstan has participated in every edition of the Turkvision Song Contest since the inaugural contest in 2013. Kazakhstan won the contest in 2014, when they were represented by the song "Izin kórem", performed by Zhanar Dugalova.

Rima Pipoyan is an Armenian choreographer, director, dancer and dance teacher. She is considered to be one of the pioneers of modern ballet and contemporary dance in Armenia. In 2017 she has found "Choreography development" educational and cultural foundation aiming to support the development of contemporary dance and modern ballet in Armenia. Pipoyan has presented her choreographic works in Italy, Spain, Serbia, Croatia, Russia, Belarus, Germany, Poland, Moldova, Georgia, Belgium, Portugal, etc.

Armenia has participated in the New Wave International Contest 15 times, making its first appearance in 2003, where the Armenian singer Emmy finished fourteen.
