SKA Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Lviv, Ukraine. It is currently used mostly for football matches, and is the home of FC Karpaty-2 Lviv and was previously the home of FC Lviv. [1] The stadium holds 23,040 spectators.
The venue has hosted motorcycle speedway [2] and the speedway team known as SKA-Speedway Lviv from 1961 to 1966 and again from 1988 to 2010. [3] It also hosted rounds of the 1964 Speedway World Team Cup and the 1966 Speedway World Team Cup.
The speedway team SKA Speedway Lviv competed in the European Speedway Club Champions' Cup in 2003 and 2009. [4] They also competed in the Team Speedway Polish Championship in 2004. [5]
Football Club Shakhtar Donetsk is a Ukrainian professional football club from the city of Donetsk. In 2014, due to the War in Donbas, the club was forced to move to Lviv, and had played matches in Lviv (2014–2016) and in Kharkiv (2017–2020) whilst having its office headquarters and training facilities in Kyiv. In May 2020, Shakhtar started to play home matches at NSC Olimpiyskyi in Kyiv.
The Ukrainian Premier League or UPL as a sports competition is the highest division of Ukrainian annual football championship. Originally known as the Vyshcha Liha it was formed in 1991 during the 1992 Ukrainian football championship upon discontinuation of the 1991 Soviet football championship and included the Ukraine-based clubs that competed previously in the Soviet top three tiers competitions as well as better clubs of the Ukrainian republican competitions. The initial season of the league featured six former Soviet Top League clubs among which were Dynamo, Shakhtar, Chornomorets, Dnipro, Metalist, Metalurh as well as four more clubs that previously also competed at the top league.

Central Park is a multi-use stadium in Cowdenbeath, Fife, Scotland, used for football and stock car racing. It is situated in the centre of the town, just off the High Street, and has a capacity of 4,309. The pitch size is 107 x 66 yards. Central Park has been the home ground of Lowland League team Cowdenbeath F.C. since it opened in 1917. Stock car racing has taken place at the ground since 1970, and takes place on a tarmac racetrack surrounding the football pitch. Central Park was also previously a venue for greyhound racing between 1928 and 1965.
