Arne Ruste (born 14 February 1942) is a Norwegian poet, essayist, novelist, and magazine editor. He made his literary debut in 1973 with the poetry collection Askeladd. He co-edited the magazine Poesi Magasin from 1983 to 1985. He was manager of The Norwegian Writers' Center from 1994 to 1999. [1] Ruste was awarded the Gyldendal's Endowment in 1978. [2]

Arne Nordheim was a Norwegian composer. Nordheim received numerous awards for his compositions, and from 1982 lived in the Norwegian government's honorary residence, Grotten, next to the Royal Palace in Oslo. He was elected an honorary member of the International Society for Contemporary Music in 1997. On 18 August 2006, Arne Nordheim received a doctor honoris causa degree at the Norwegian Academy of Music. He died at the age of 78 and was given a state funeral.

Husker du? is a television music program aimed at senior citizens, broadcast between the years 1971 and 1985 by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. It was initiated and largely hosted by Ivar Ruste, accompanied by Odd Grythe initially and Børt-Erik Thoresen after Grythe's health deteriorated. When Ruste retired due to ill health, Thoreson merged the show with a classical-music program he had hosted, continuing until mid-1985. Ruste's death earlier that year influenced Thoreson's decision to conclude the program; at that point 130 programs in the series had been broadcast, with several recordings from the show being published for EMI.

Torgeir Rebolledo Pedersen is a Norwegian architect, poet, playwright and children's writer. He made his literary debut in 1983 with the poetry collection Tidr. Other collections are Stråmann from 1990, Han som elsket verden from 1993, and I krig og kjærlighet er ennå mye ugjort from 1995. His children's books include God natt, lille abbor from 2006, and Lammet som ikke ville bli lår from 2011. He was awarded the Dobloug Prize in 2013.
