Roger Nilsen is a Norwegian football coach and former player. A defender, he played for the Norwegian clubs Tromsø, Viking, Molde and Bryne, and spent time abroad at 1. FC Köln, Sheffield United, Tottenham Hotspur and Grazer AK. He made 32 appearances and scored three goals for Norway. He later worked as assistant coach at Viking.

Early in his career, Jenssen played as a winger, but he has later played as a central midfielder. Jenssen made his international debut for Norway in May 2010, and has since then been a member of the national team, and a regular starter since September 2012. He is the son of former footballer Truls Jenssen.
Terje Skarsfjord was a Norwegian football player and manager. A native of Narvik, he spent the majority of his playing career at his hometown club Mjølner in the 1960s and 1970s, and also lived a period in Trondheim where he played for FK Kvik. After his playing career ended, he managed his former club Mjølner, but became more famous as manager of Tromsø, whom he guided to victory in the Norwegian Football Cup in 1996.

The 2023 Eliteserien was the 79th season of top-tier football in Norway. This was the seventh season of Eliteserien after rebranding from Tippeligaen. Bodø/Glimt were crowned the champions at the end of the season, winning their 3rd Norwegian league title.
