Arsi Ruuskanen (born 21 September 1999) is a Finnish cross-country skier. He is best known for winning a gold medal at the 2022 Nordic Junior World Ski Championships (U23).
He grew up in Siilinjärvi. [1] At the Junior World Championships he competed in 2019, 2021 (U23) and 2022 (U23). At the latter competition he won the gold medal in the 15 kilometre classic race, and also finished fifth in the relay. [2] [1] [3]
He made his World Cup debut in November 2021 in Ruka, collecting his first World Cup points one year later in the same location. A breakthrough was his 8th place in the 20 kilometre freestyle race in Davos in December 2022. [2]
Vuorela also competed at the 2023 World Championships, but crashed during the 30 kilometre skiathlon, injured himself and had to pull out of the championship. [4] He finished 24th overall in the 2023–24 Tour de Ski, having made a jump in the standings with a 9th place in the final stage. [5]
Marina Charlotte Kalla is a Swedish retired cross-country skier. A four-time Olympian, Kalla won three golds and nine medals overall at the Olympics between 2004 and 2022. She holds the joint record as Sweden's most decorated Olympic competitor and is the all-time leader among Swedish female athletes. She is also a 13-time medalist at the World Championships, including a gold medal at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2015 10 km freestyle event in Falun. This made Kalla the first Swedish female cross-country skier to win individual golds in both the Olympics and World Championships. In 2008, Kalla won the Jerring Award.
Antti Hermanni Ruuskanen is a retired Finnish track and field athlete who competes in the javelin throw. He is a European Champion, having won gold in 2014. His personal best is 88.98 metres, which he set in 2015.

Stina Nilsson is a Swedish former biathlete and former cross-country skier. She is a five-time Olympic medalist and the 2018 Olympic champion in the individual sprint. In March 2020 she announced that she would switch to competing in biathlon. In April 2024, she announced her return to cross-country skiing, this time as a long-distance racer.
