Art Nation is a Swedish melodic rock band from Gothenburg, founded in 2014 by Alexander Strandell.
Their debut album Revolution was released in August 2015 by German record company Metal Heaven. [1]
The band was nominated for one of Sweden's biggest music prizes, "Gaffa- priset", 2015, 2016, and 2017, as "The Best Live Act of the Year" and "Swedish Breakthrough of the Year" [2] and "Swedish Group of the Year" like Zara Larsson , Ghost , Laleh , Håkan Hellström and In Flames.
The song "Look to the Sky" featured in the newspaper Aftonbladet's best-selling list 2015 and was named "Beautifulest Ballad of the Year". [3]
In early 2016, the band signed a worldwide record contract with Sony Music Entertainment [4] / Gain, which led to a sharp success curve in a short period of time. In mid-2016, the band was highly featured with "We Are Better Together", this year's specially written Gothia Cup song, [5] performed during the opening ceremony at Ullevi on July 18, 2016, for an audience of 60,000. In this connection, the band also participated in [6] SVT where the "Gothia song" was played live.
The tour summer also included many play dates at festivals, clubs and other contexts. Sweden's biggest rock magazine online, Rocknytt , praised the band through the sentence - "[Art Nation] is a magnificent show in how damn good melodic hard rock can sound in 2016!" [7]
The group has played and shared a scene with bands and artists like Sabaton, Europe, Twisted Sister, H.e.a.t, [8] Dokken, [9] Takida, Stiftelsen, [10] Måns Zelmerlöw, D-A-D, Petter [11] and Carola. [11]
In April 2017, Art Nation released its second album, Liberation, with a tougher and more modern sound than before.
"We wanted to broaden the boundaries and see what was possible to do to renew," says Alexander Strandell.
In autumn 2017, Christoffer Borg, Simon Gudmundsson and Carl Tudén were replaced by Sam Söderlindh, Richard Svärd and Linus Thomsson respectively. Efraim Larsson (ex-Diamond Dawn) was temporary as a drummer between July–September 2017.

Kent was a Swedish alternative rock band, formed in Eskilstuna in 1990. With origins rooted in distorted rock, they found mainstream success through their alternative rock albums of the mid-1990s, 2000s and 2010s, the latter decades during which they adopted elements of synthpop. With eleven number-one albums, five number-one singles, 23 Swedish Grammy Awards, and over three million record sales, Kent is considered the most popular rock/pop group within Sweden and throughout Scandinavia. Vapen & ammunition (2002) topped the Swedish charts for eight weeks. Kent is often compared to bands like U2 and Coldplay.
Ullevi, sometimes known as Nya Ullevi, is a multi-purpose stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden. It was built for the 1958 FIFA World Cup, but since then has also hosted the World Allround Speed Skating Championships six times; the 1995 World Championships in Athletics and the 2006 European Athletics Championships; the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup finals in 1983 and 1990; the UEFA Euro 1992 final, the UEFA Cup final in 2004; and annually hosted the opening ceremony of the Gothia Cup, the world's largest football tournament in terms of the number of participants. IFK Göteborg has also played two UEFA Cup finals at the stadium, in 1982 and 1987, but then as "home game" in a home and away final. The stadium has hosted several events, including football, ice hockey, boxing, racing, athletics and concerts.

Laleh Pourkarim, known mononymously as Laleh, is a Swedish singer-songwriter, record producer, guitarist, pianist, and record company manager. Following a short acting career, she entered the music industry in 2005 with her self-titled debut album, which peaked at number one in Sweden and went on to become that country's highest selling album of the year.

Asta Kask is a Swedish punk band from Töreboda, Sweden. It was founded as "X-tas" in 1978, but changed to Asta Kask in 1980. In 1984 the band started working with Rosa Honung Records. After the 1986 release of the "Aldrig en LP" the band split up. In 1989 the band was reunited and played a few gigs, but went dormant until 1992 when they played at Rosa Honung's tenth anniversary. Quiet until 2003, they started touring again as "revenge" for all the unfairness they had been put through. The drummer, Bjurre, quit the band in late 2004 and was replaced by Dadde. During 2005 a growing conflict with Rosa Honung reached a point where the band instead signed a deal with Burning Heart Records. In April 2006, Asta Kask recorded their first album in 20 years. In 2013, the album Handen På Hjärtat was released on their new record label.
Gamla Ullevi is a football stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden, that opened on 5 April 2009. The stadium replaced the city's previous main football stadium, also called Gamla Ullevi, and is the home ground of GAIS, IFK Göteborg and Örgryte IS. It is also the national stadium for the Sweden women's national football team. The new stadium was built on the ground of the now-demolished old stadium. The construction of the stadium was surrounded by controversy, regarding the cost of the project, the alleged low standard of the finished stadium, as well as its name.

First Aid Kit is a Swedish folk duo consisting of the sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg, born in 1990 and 1993, respectively. When performing live, they are accompanied by a drummer, a guitarist and a keyboard player. In 2008, they gained some Internet popularity for their cover of the Fleet Foxes' song "Tiger Mountain Peasant Song". En plats i solen is the ninth studio album by Swedish alternative rock band Kent. It was released on 30 June 2010, just eight months after the release of their previous album, Röd, but was released exclusively as digital download on the band's website on 23 June. The album is produced primarily with Swedish producer Stefan Boman, who worked with the band on Du & jag döden from 2005. The lead single, "Gamla Ullevi" / "Skisser för sommaren", was released on 14 June 2010, the same day as the band announced the album details.

Corroded is a heavy metal band from Ånge, Sweden. The band is best known for their song Time And Again, which was the theme song for the Swedish 2009 Survivor television series on TV4. In 2013 Corroded played a European tour, supporting the Australian band Airbourne.

It was released on 25 April 2012 by Sonet Records and it was the band's debut release with the label since their departure from Sony Music in June 2011. The album was preceded by the lead single "999" on 28 March 2012.
