Art Thief Musical! is a 2004 American short musical film directed by Linus Lau. It stars Autumn Reeser, Benjamin Sprunger, Matt O'Toole and Sean Smith. It premiered at the Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films in September 2004. [1] Inspired by Jacques Demy's The Umbrellas of Cherbourg , all of the "dialogue" throughout the entire film is sung, except for the last two lines.

Peter Seamus O'Toole was a British stage and film actor. He attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and began working in the theatre, gaining recognition as a Shakespearean actor at the Bristol Old Vic and with the English Stage Company. In 1959 he made his West End debut in The Long and the Short and the Tall, and played the title role in Hamlet in the National Theatre's first production in 1963. Smile for the Camera is a short 2005 independent film. It was directed, produced and edited by Jordan Galland, who co-wrote the story and screenplay with Sean Lennon. Galland and Lennon also wrote the theme song, which was performed by Galland's Domino bandmate Domino Kirke and her sister Jemima Kirke. Although the film's cast, with the exception of Erika Thormahlen, had no previous acting experience, Milla Jovovich and Sean Lennon make cameo appearances as "Boxheads". Linus Lau is a film composer, keyboardist and filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California. In 2000, he penned the music to a one-act opera titled The Release, with writer Daniel G. Lee. The opera was picked up for distribution by The Franchesa Group. A composer of art song, he has collaborated with a variety of notable poets, including Robert Creeley, Carol Ann Duffy, Billy Collins, Peter Cole, and Kenneth Koch. In 2009, he was the touring keyboardist for the alternative rock band Killola.

Matthew Christopher "Matt" Lutz is an American film, television, and theater actor, who portrays Phil Newberry on the Hallmark Channel's McBride murder-mystery series, and has had significant roles in the feature films A Walk to Remember, Bringing Down the House, and End of the Spear. Matt Tyrnauer is an American film director. He directed the documentary feature Valentino: The Last Emperor (2009), which was short listed for an Oscar nomination in 2010, Citizen Jane: Battle for the City (2016), the Emmy nominated, Scotty and the Secret History of Hollywood (2017), the 2018 documentary Studio 54 detailing New York's famed Studio 54 nightclub, Where's My Roy Cohn? (2019), and the Showtime four-part series, The Reagans (2020). Tyrnauer also developed, and executive produced, with producing partner Corey Reeser, the docuseries Home, directing its Hong Kong episode, about the Gary Chang's Domestic Transformer home. The Sheep Thief is a 1997 United Kingdom 16 mm short film by Asif Kapadia lasting 24 minutes, and is Kapadia's graduation film from the Royal College of Art.
