Arthemis are an Italian power metal/heavy metal band.

History

Originally called "Nemhesis" having recorded a six-track demo in 1996 under that name, they were formed by the guitarist Andrea Martongelli in 1999. Singer Alessio Garavello joined Arthemis in 1999 (shortly after the release of Church of the Ghost [1] and also became the second guitarist after Matteo Ballottari had left the band.

Arthemis have released eight studio albums starting with the 1999 debut album Church of the Ghost. The band has also appeared on rock and metal themed TV shows Rock TV Sala Prove, Rock TV Database, and played for an advertising spot for “Fiat” cars. In 2010, Arthemis appeared on the Metal Hammer UK Judas Priest tribute album The Metal Forge: Volume 1 - Judas Priest: British Steel, covering "United".

Under the leadership of original member, Andrea Martongelli, the band has moved from power metal to a more heavy metal and thrash metal sound.

In 1994, they changed their name to "Heavenly" and evolved into a full-fledged Helloween-influenced power metal outfit. In 1998, they released a three-track demo with new guitarist Anthony Parker. However, Parker's time with the band was to be short lived, leaving before a record deal with Noise Records was clinched. Heavenly then found a replacement in Chris Savourey and completed their lineup with bassist Laurent Jean.

War of Words is the debut album by the American heavy metal band Fight, released on September 14, 1993 by Epic Records. This is the first release Rob Halford recorded after his departure from Judas Priest in 1992. He brought with him drummer Scott Travis from the band and recruited three new members. The music is a mixture between the heavy metal sound created by Judas Priest and a thrash/groove metal sound similar to that of Pantera. Halford is also credited with playing guitar but only recorded vocals for the album. Music videos were made for "Nailed to the Gun", "Immortal Sin" and "Little Crazy".

"Dissident Aggressor" is a song by the English heavy metal band Judas Priest that was first released on Sin After Sin in 1977. The band announced their formation on 25 October 2022, originally with bassist Rex Brown of Pantera and drummer Scott Travis of Judas Priest.
