Arthur Eze is a Nigerian businessman [1] who is CEO of Atlas Oranto Petroleum, the largest privately owned petroleum exploration and production company in Nigeria. [2]

Biography

Arthur Eze was born into in the Southern-East of Nigeria, on 27 November 1948. [3] His elder brother Igwe Robert Eze, is the monarch of Ukpo, a town in Dunukofia. [4] [5]

In 1970, Eze graduated from St. Augustin Secondary School in Nkwere, Imo. [6]

In 2023, Eze was appointed the pro-chancellor of Peaceland University Enugu, Enugu State. [7]

The Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) is a university in Nigeria that was founded as Anambra State University of Technology (ASUTECH) on 30 July 1980, by the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Chief Dr Jim Ifeanyichukwu Nwobodo. The creation of Enugu State out of Anambra State in 1991 by the then Military President General Ibrahim Gbadamasi Babangida, transformed ASUTECH into Enugu State University of Science and Technology.

Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, fondly called UNIZIK, is a federal university in Nigeria. It consists of two campuses in Anambra State. Its main campus is in Awka, while its other campus is in Nnewi. There are also other campuses of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. These include Agulu in Anaocha local government area and Ifite-Ogwuari in Ayamelum local government area in Anambra State. Charles Chukwuma Soludo is a Nigerian politician, banker, and economist who serves as the fifth governor of Anambra State since March 2022. He is a former governor and chairman of the board of directors of the Central Bank of Nigeria. He was appointed as the bank's governor on 29 May 2004.

The 2015 Enugu State gubernatorial election was the 6th gubernatorial election of Enugu State. on April 11, 2015, the People's Democratic Party nominee Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi won the election, defeating Okey Ezea of the All Progressives Congress.

The 1979 Anambra State gubernatorial election occurred on July 28, 1979. NPP's Jim Nwobodo won election for a first term to become Anambra State's first executive governor by defeating NPN's Christian Onoh, his closest contestant to win the contest.

Edith Ogonnaya Nwosu is a Nigerian Professor of Corporate Law and the immediate-past Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus (UNEC). Before her appointment as the DVC, she was the Associate Dean of Students Affairs and the orator of the institution.
