Artukainen (Swedish Artukais) is a district of the city of Turku, Finland. It is located in the western part of the city, five kilometres from the city centre. It has a population of 78 (as of 2004) making it one of the smallest districts of Turku. The district's relatively small population is due to its status as one of the biggest industrial concentrations in the city.
Finland's first airport was built in Artukainen in 1935. It served as the main airport of Turku until Turku Airport was built in 1955. The former runway of the Artukainen Airport is nowadays replaced with Turku Fair Centre, and an ice hockey stadium, Turkuhalli.

It is located seven kilometres to the east of the city centre, and is the easternmost major suburb of Turku, bordering on the neighbouring city of Kaarina. Varissuo has 9,000 inhabitants, the majority of whom are foreign immigrants. It is thus the second largest district of Turku, after Runosmäki. The name consists of the words varis, meaning 'crow' and suo, meaning 'marsh'.
Runosmäki is a district and a suburb of the city of Turku, Finland, located approximately six kilometres to the north of the city centre. It is the largest district in the city, with a population of 10,296. However, the area of the district also includes the nearby suburb of Länsinummi in addition to Runosmäki proper, which has a population of about 8,200 and thus it is only the second-largest suburb of Turku, after Varissuo.

Turku Airport is exclusively operated by the state-owned company Finavia. Among normal operation the airport offers differentiated service specifically designed for low-cost airlines since 2008.
Nummi is a district and a suburb of the city of Turku, Finland. It is located in the north-eastern part of the city, just outside the city centre and south of the river Aura. It is the fourth largest district in Turku, having a population of 7,011, with an annual growth rate of 2.21%.
The II District is one of the central districts of Turku, Finland. It is located on the east side of the river Aura, between Uudenmaankatu and Kaskenkatu. The district is located on the historical centre of the city, and contains numerous cultural and historical venues, such as the Luostarinmäki handicrafts museum, the Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova twin museums, and the Old Great Square, the city's oldest marketplace. It also hosts events such as the Medieval Market of Turku. A large portion of the district's land area is also taken up by the Vartiovuori park.
The VII District is one of the central districts of Turku, Finland. It is located on the west side of the river Aura, between Aurakatu and Puistokatu. Like the neighbouring VI District, it forms part of the city's central business district. The two districts combined host a large proportion of the city's business life, particularly around the Market Square. Turku City Hall is located in the VII District, as well as the Turku Central Railway Station.
The IV District, also known as Martti, is one of the central districts of Turku, Finland. It is located on the east side of the river Aura, between Tervahovinkatu in the west and Betaniankatu and Martinkatu in the east. The district is one of the smallest in Turku, and is centred on the Martinkirkko church, named after the reformer Martin Luther. Martti is also one of the most expensive areas to live in Turku.
The VIII District, also known as Port Arthur, is one of the central districts of Turku, Finland. It is located on the west side of the river Aura, between Puistokatu and the IX District (Länsiranta). The district consists mostly of wooden houses, separated by narrow streets paved with cobblestones. It is widely considered one of the most beautiful residential districts in the whole of Finland, and has received an award to that effect in 2001. Port Arthur is one of the most expensive districts in Turku to live in.
Pitkämäki is a district of the city of Turku, in Finland. It is located in the southeast of the city, and consists of several residential suburbs and industrial area. Pitkämäki is the only district in Turku to be divided among three different wards: the industrial area belongs to the City Centre ward, the high-density residential area of Suikkila to Kuninkoja, and the low-density residential area of Muhkuri to Naantalintie.
Iso-Heikkilä is a district of the city of Turku, in Finland. It is located to the west of the city centre, bordering on the city centre's VIII District.
Kurjenmäki is a district of the city of Turku, in Finland. It is located to the southeast of the city centre, bordering on the city centre's II and III districts, as well as Kupittaa. The Turku City Hospital is located in Kurjenmäki.
Vähäheikkilä is a district of the city of Turku, in Finland. It is located to the south of the city centre, between Martti and Puistomäki. Despite the district's name it has nothing to do with Iso-Heikkilä, which is located on the other side of the city centre.
Kähäri is a district of the city of Turku, in Finland. It is located to the northwest of the city centre.
Pihlajaniemi is a district of the city of Turku, in Finland. It is located to the south of the city centre, on the coastline of the Archipelago Sea. Pihlajaniemi shares the new luxurious residential development of Majakkaranta with the neighbouring district of Korppolaismäki. Finnish Naval Headquarters is located in Pihlajaniemi, at the former garrison of Heikkilä.
Maaria-Paattinen is a ward of Turku, Finland, also known as Ward 9. The ward includes almost half of the city's land area, and is its most sparsely populated district. It is located to the north of the city, and named after Maaria and Paattinen, the two former municipalities from which it was formed after both of them were annexed into Turku.
Vaala is a district in the Itäharju-Varissuo ward of the city of Turku, in Finland. It is located to the east of the city centre, and consists mainly of a strip of low-density residential area between the more densely built suburbs of Varissuo and Lauste.
Koroinen is a district in the Koroinen ward of the city of Turku, in Finland. It is located to the north of the city centre, across the river Aura from the Turku Student Village. Koroinen is mostly non-built-up area, consisting largely of recreational area. The current population of the district is 26.
Kaerla is a district in the Tampereentie ward of the city of Turku, in Finland. It is located to the north of the city centre, next to the densely built suburb of Runosmäki. Kaerla is mostly low-density residential area, but it also includes the area of Impivaara, with numerous sports and recreational facilities such as an ice hockey arena, an indoor football venue, the city's main swimming centre, as well as a tennis centre.
