Arturo Paoletti

Arturo Paoletti (born 10 August 1918, date of death unknown) was an Italian boxer. He was born in Mira, Veneto.

He won thrice the Italian championships at Ferrara 1937, Terni 1941, and Viareggio 1942, [1] and won the gold medal in the Bantamweight class at the 1942 European Amateur Boxing Championships in Breslau. [2] Between 1936 and 1942 he was on the Italian national team 13 times, scoring +10 –2 =1. [3]

As a professional boxer, he was an Italian champion in the bantamweight class in 1945–1946. The Arturo Paoletti Memorial is a boxing tournament played in his honour in Verona. [4]

Gyula Török was an amateur Hungarian boxer. Competing in the flyweight division, he won the national title in 1957–58, a silver medal at the 1959 European Championships, and a gold medal at the 1960 Olympics. He subsequently moved to bantamweight and won three more national titles, in 1961, 1962 and 1964. He lost to Italy's Primo Zamparini in a quarter-final of the 1961 European Championships, and to Russia's Oleg Grigoryev in his first bout at the 1964 Olympics. Török retired from competitions in 1966 and for 40 years worked at the Kispest Granite Factory. He simultaneously coached boxers at Építők SC in 1976–78 and at Csepel SC in 1978–81. In the 1990 he also worked for the national boxing team and the Hungarian Boxing Federation. Török was Jewish.

At regional level she held the European female flyweight title twice between 2007 and 2015. As an amateur, she won gold medals at the 2001, 2002 and 2005 World Championships, and the 2003, 2004 and 2005 European Championships.
