Bishan Singh Bedi was an Indian cricketer who was primarily a slow left-arm orthodox bowler. He played Test cricket for India from 1966 to 1979 and formed part of the famous Indian spin quartet. He played a total of 67 Tests and took 266 wickets. He also captained the national side in 22 Test matches. Bedi wore a colourful patka and was always known for his outspoken and forthright views on cricketing matters. He was awarded the Padma Shri award in 1970 and the C. K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award in 2004.
Mohammad Kaif is a former Indian cricketer, who played Tests and ODIs. He made it to the national team on the strength of his performances at the Under-19 level, where he captained the India national under-19 cricket team to victory in the Under-19 World Cup in 2000. With India, Kaif was a member of the Indian team that was one of the joint-winners of the 2002 ICC Champions Trophy, which the title was also shared with Sri Lanka, and he was a member of the team that were runners-up in the 2003 Cricket World Cup. He is regarded as one of the greatest Indian fielders.
The Arun Jaitley Stadium is a cricket stadium owned and operated by the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) and located on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi. It was established in 1883 as the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, and named after the nearby Kotla fort. He has also coached the Deccan Chargers in the IPL's inaugural year.

Sarandeep Singh is an Indian cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm offbreak bowler. In his debut Test match he took six wickets in Nagpur. Singh started his career in Rani Ka Bagh Amritsar in 1998–1999, playing for Punjab and before the end of the year, he was playing for the Under-19 squad.

He coached 12 international and over 100 first-class cricketers, and is the second cricket coach to be awarded the Dronacharya Award. He was also awarded the fourth highest civilian award Padma Shri by the Indian government.
