Arven was a German symphonic metal band from Frankfurt that has released two studio albums to date. The group referred to their style as 'Melodic metal'.
Arven was founded in 2006 by guitarist and songwriter Anastasia Schmidt. Looking for female musicians, keyboard player Lena Yatsula and guitarist Ines Thomé joined the band. For the vocals, the classically trained Carina Hanselmann was added. In May 2009, bassist Lisa Marie Geiss replaced Eve Kreuzer. As the only man of the sextet, drummer Till Felden joined the band.
In 2011, Arven signed a record contract with Massacre Records. Their debut album, Music of Light, was published on 30 September 2011. [1] The album was mastered by Sascha Paeth and Michael Rodenberg. The album cover was designed by Jan Yrlund. The second album Black Is the Colour was released on 23 August 2013. [2]
In 2015, Arven announced in their official website that they have officially disbanded due to musical differences and difficulties finding a replacement for the guitarist Ines Thomé, who left the band. [3]

Fronted by Cambodian-born singer Sothira Pheng, Crucifix were distinct among American underground bands for their strong D-beat musical characteristics and anarchist lyrical content and graphic design. The band's debut 1983 full-length album Dehumanization on Crass Records‘ offshoot Corpus Christi Records, is considered by many critics and fans to be a cornerstone of political punk music. After their breakup, Crucifix’s members went on to form the bands Loudspeaker and Proudflesh.
Porno for Pyros is an American alternative rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, United States in 1992, following the break-up of Jane's Addiction. The band currently consists of former Jane's Addiction members Perry Farrell (vocals) and Stephen Perkins (drums), alongside founding members Peter DiStefano (guitar) and Martyn LeNoble (bass). Bass guitarist Mike Watt was a member of the band from 1995 until 1998, and again for one-off appearances in 2020 and 2022.

Horrorscope is the fifth studio album by thrash metal band Overkill, released on September 3, 1991 through Atlantic and Megaforce Records. It was the first Overkill album to feature the duo of guitarists Merritt Gant and Rob Cannavino, and the last to be released through Megaforce, although they remained on Atlantic until 1995. Like its predecessor, The Years of Decay (1989), Horrorscope was produced by Terry Date.
Olve Eikemo, better known by his stage name Abbath Doom Occulta or simply Abbath, is a Norwegian musician best known as a founding member of the black metal band Immortal. Before founding Immortal, Abbath performed with Old Funeral alongside future Immortal member Demonaz. While working with Old Funeral, he also joined Demonaz's band Amputation which later became Immortal. He also plays bass in Demonaz's eponymous project.

Mechanical Poet was a Russian metal band formed in Moscow, Russia, in 2002, led by composer, guitarist and keyboardis Lex Plotnikoff (1977-2022). The band released concept albums in post-prog and symphonic progressive metal genres with orchestral arrangements and heavy use of keyboards. Its music is strongly influenced by film score composers like Danny Elfman, and its lyrics are based on fantasy, gothic and science fiction stories. The band split in 2009, however, Plotnikoff continued releasing his music under various new aliases until his death in 2022.

Live at the Bass Performance Hall is a live album by Fleetwood Mac guitarist/vocalist Lindsey Buckingham. It was released on March 25, 2008 on DVD and a CD/DVD combo. The performances were recorded at the Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth, Texas on January 27, 2007 when Buckingham and his backing band were on tour promoting the Under the Skin album. Live at the Bass Performance Hall peaked at #186 on the Billboard 200 album chart in March 2008.
Abbath is a Norwegian black metal band formed in 2015 by former Immortal guitarist and vocalist Abbath Doom Occulta after departing from Immortal earlier in 2015. To date, the band has released three studio albums: Abbath (2016), Outstrider (2019) and Dread Reaver (2022).
