Ascent was selected to modernise training under a £3.2 billion UKMFTS contract over 25 years - until 2033 - training military aircrew up to their respective Operational Conversion Units. [4] It operates a fleet of 110 aircraft and over 100 simulators at six modern training centres, producing hundreds of next-generation combat leaders for FTUs/OCUs each year.
